Panasonic NNCD989S Microwave Oven

When we received our Panasonic convection microwave we were a little worried because the packaging was damaged. The unit appeared to function okay with the exception that the door catches a little when it swings. A month later and the microwave is still working well. Overstock customer service was great! I contacted them with the fear that something could go wrong with the microwave because of the potential damage. Unfortunately, we couldn't exchange the unit because they were out of stock, but they did offer us an Overstock credit. Overall, the unit was working well and there was no obvious damage so we decided to go ahead and keep it. I searched for months for a good-looking and well-rated convection microwave. Trust me, they aren't easy to come by. The Jenn-Air unit was much wider and deeper than this one. I wasn't impressed with the Sharp model either, mainly because of the look and functionality of the control panel. The Panasonic looks really nice on my countertop and works well too! Best of both worlds...
