The previous answer to what are the dimensions is incomprehensible: what does '"' mean, and there seems to be two sets of dimensions? My question: Regarding dimensions given in Product Details,': "Unit dimensions: 12.25 inches high x 15.81 inches wide x 20.68 inches deep", is not the front to back depth 15.81 inches and the measurement across the front from left to right not 20.68 inches? It appears to me that these two have been reversed in the Product Details. Also, I've never seen a microwave that was deeper than it is wide, making me suspect an error. Thank you.

The description should have said No Light when door is opened. I also do not like the finish on the top which isn't a flat surface and the sides because it's painted silver and not stainless steel, It looks like it belongs in between a cabinet. When I recieved it, I called Panasonic about the light not going on when the door is opened, and they said, "the higher price microwaves have it." Only when it's in operation does the light come on. I kept it because it works very well, and the size is what I wanted. The price is also what I wanted to pay for replacing my old microwave.Read More
I know this seems odd, but the thing I like most about this microwave is that the door opens easily. I have had some in the past that were just plain troublesome to get the doors to open. All worked well except for their doors.Read More

How to Install a Built-in Microwave
Microwaves are a kitchen staple. They offer convenience, no residual heat from cooking and, when compared with an oven or range, efficiency. With so much going for them, it's no surprise microwaves are so popular. If there was ever a drawback to having a microwave oven in the kitchen, it was that the appliance claimed too much valuable countertop real estate. But ever since microwave ovens were made to be installed over the range, that dilemma has ceased to exist. Installing a built-in microwave is really not that difficult, but what many people don't realize is that they need a dedicated 20-amp circuit installed in the cabinet directly above the microwave oven for the installation to be up to code. If you're not comfortable running your own circuit, hire a qualified electrician for the job. Once you have the circuit installed, you can then install a built-in microwave.

How to Tell If Something Is Microwave Safe
Many bowls and plates are considered microwave safe; however, if you use the wrong dish, you could ruin both the dinnerware and the dinner. Microwaves are convenient appliances, but there are a few precautions you should know about when it comes to your dishes. Always check to see if a dish is microwave safe before using it in the microwave. Some containers can break, melt or scald you. Some containers can also damage your microwave, such as foil-lined containers. Microwave-safe dishes can be used to both cook and store food. Non-microwave safe containers can only be used for storage or serving.
