    I rate this vacuum very poor mainly because it is clunky in that it does not stand up as shown in all the photos. If it is more than a foot away from the canister it flops over. Secondly, it does not have the optiflow it advertises. Sometimes it will not pick up the least bit of cat hair from my carpeting. And thirdly, it was supposed to be so convenient to use on stairs. Hose is not long enough to effectively move up or down the stairs without having to carry the cannister in one hand and try to sweep with the other. I have never owned a canister style vacuum, and realize now why I've hesitated so long to try one. I wanted so much for this to work, but turns out I am so disappointed.

    This vacuum is very similar to my ***** ******** that I pad over $$$ for. It cleans very well. Power attachment is strong. Parts are well made and the stair brush with motor does a great job. I have ******** and ********** canisters and this Panasnic is equal to or better. Great value for the price. Love it!

    Love the vacuum! Cleans carpet under my bed with the power brush! The power brush has a good powerful suction. I have used it a lot for about 3 months and still have not had to change the bag. The floor attachment works very well and picks up with a lot of suction. It is not heavy to pick up for the stairs. The cord rewind is wonderful. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone. The attachments go onto the pole easily. If something does suck up into the carpet power brush than it has a safety auto shut off and it just shuts off and then you pull out that thing and push a reset button and the power brush starts right up again. The hose is of a very good quality.

  • I have looked at many sites featuring the MC-CG917 vacuum and while yours states this product is made in the USA, all the other sites states its origin as either "imported" or "Mexico." Please advise where is the USA this is made. Thank you.
