The ad says the feet are silver. Is it a dark silver, because the picture doesn't look like a bright chrome like silver?
This is how every bed should be. It is huge, comfortable and elegant with a fair price. I knew I will get good quality from Overstock but I did not expect such a great one. My favorite part, the headboard looks amazing with the simple decorative element and fine work. The beige color was unusual to me, but this great fabric and design looks perfect only in this color. I am happy with my new and comfortable bed, where I could sleep all day long. Thanks....

Questions & Answers
Hello ssb0022, According to the photo, they are a dark, pewter looking silver. Thank you for shopping with us.
Do you have an image showing the frame & slat construction?
Unfortunately we do not have another picture provided by the manufacturer. We apologize for the inconvenience.
this bed is solid! there are 13 solid slats connected to a metal frame. the slats are secured so they won't move around. this seperate metal/slat "base" fits inside the outer upholstered frame.
can this handle a 14inch king size memory foam matress? strong enough?
I believe so. I made a bunkie board so there was a flat surface for my sleepnumber bed. you may want to do same for memory foam. this bed is solid as a rock.
