Who you calling PHAT?
Very heavy and sturdy. Haven't experienced any blustery days yet but I think it will withstand quite a bit. I didn't give it an excellent 5 stars because the base is a tad bit wobbly although I still think it will hold it's own! Nice finish and color!

Beautiful stand, awesome weight!
I purchased two of the stands for two different umbrellas. One umbrella pole was a bit smaller that the opening of the stand, but it works great and the umbrella is very secure. The other umbrella pole wasn't small enough to fit the stand without leaving a couple of the pieces off the stand itself. However, there are no complaints here because it works, is secure and looks beautiful. Thanks again, Overstock, for providing such awesome products with great pricing!
