I was pleased when I got this. The material appears to be a real linen with a lovely, natural texture. Colors are soft but the stripes add some interest and make it less stark in terms of stains. I was concerned the wood would look strange, as some less expensive aged furniture can end up looking plastic. This wood is pretty graceful; not at all cheesy looking. It is a true medium toned wood with some grey to it. The tufting is pretty and seems durable. This is more of a cocktail ottoman and is firm (good for putting things on, not too comfy to sit on). For use as a coffee table, I am pleased.
How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Yes, the photo is accurate; you can't get a lot of detail on the wood which is an aged, medium brown
Please tell us about the quality of the product. Good quality; no overt flaws; somewhat lightweight
How accurate was the on site description of the product? Fairly accurate
I wonder about the color and finish of the wood. Is it extremely weathered looking and does it have a color tone to it (such as white, grey, etc.)? Does it look like plastic the way that some artificially weathered wood does?dorotheabrook on Dec 2, 2012Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
