This comforter is absolutely lovely. The fabric quality is wonderful and the edges are finished very nicely. The sateen stripes are a very understated, and it's so soft.It doesn't need a duvet. We are using it as our spread/comforter as is. I defineately recommend it. What a great deal for the price.

The comforter looked great on my bed. I bought my comforter once size larger than my bed, and it hangs just right. The shell material is really soft to the touch. So far I've been using this comforter for about 3 weeks and the only problem I can report is very minimal leaking of down material. I find a couple of tiny feathers on my sheets, but it's not a big problem -- all I would have to do is buy a cover for the comforter. The comforter is not too heavy nor too light. The comforter does very well in retaining temperature under the covers, keeping you warm throughout the night, although it has gotten a little too warm for me (I get hot easily) because I share the bed with my wife. I've owned comforters with prints/patterns, but never a down comforter, and this one, priced as much or lower than those non-down comforters, is the best thus far.

i bought this down comforter for my daughter because it was a good price and had a good thread count. It is soft, warm and she absolutely LOVES it! She doesn't need any other blankets with it, even in the cold winter!
