  • Does the work though thin bowl and head

    Hope this stand mixer will last some time as the head is flimsy plastic and stainless steel or aluminum bowl is thin and lightweight. Though nice to handle a lightweight appliance. As far as performance, the speeds are great and though you have to be moving the front base lever so that the bowl gets the proper mixing on the sides of bowl, every now and then you still have to scrape off cake flour mixture from the wall of the bowl. It is good to have the stand mixer running while you do some other things around the kitchen. Do not leave unsupervised though. I have not used the dough mixing gadgets yet but because of the speeds it has, I am pretty sure they will work fine. If possible to update review later, I will. If the head and bowl had been thicker (head plastic and bowl metal) I would have given it 5 stars for the price you pay. As it is, though, It still beats popular stand mixers priced in the hundreds.
