If you sit and study it carefully, you're aware of tiny irregularities, stain touchups, dings, etc. But everyone who has seen the table in my living room has nothing but praise for its design and beauty. So, I would call this a Five Star value...really gorgeous for the price.

This table was the last piece of furniture to go in my redesigned living room. It is the perfect size and shape for the room and the sofa. The table top and legs are attractive and good quality, but the lower shelf is similar to a piece of thin, ratty wood that doesn't really match up with the rest of the piece. But being that it was a lower shelf, it didn't bother me as much. I'm really happy with this purchase overall.

This table was slightly disappointing. I wasn't home when it arrived and my husband put it together- which he said was really easy. The trim around the top of the table was coming off and we had to fix it with Gorilla Glue. Now that it's been sitting in the living room for a while I've noticed a lot of areas where the veneer is not glued down all the way and sort of bubbled. It's also slightly darker than pictured. It'll work for now, but I wish I hadn't spent the money on it.

Table is very classy and sturdy at such a great price. I wanted quality but did not want to spend much since I have two toddlers that will most likely beat this table up - so this table was a perfect fit! I am hoping they dont mess it up too much as I would like to have it for a long time

this table arrived smashed on the corners and the pressure treated wood was shredded. I got an exchange and had the same bad luck...

Arrive on time in about a week, easy to setup. The table is made by solid wood, so I would expect it will last for a while. Overall is an excellent product.

I bought this coffee table a few weeks ago and I love it !! The quality is great! The color is perfect and just like it looks in the pictures. I couldn't be happier with it!

Overall best purchase that I have made thus far at Overstock......If you are in the market for a great coffee table that is absolutely stunning and not totally expensive, then purchase this, it will not disappoint. The table that I received initially was marred and had a small but noticeable gash around the edge, called Overstock and wa....la, they shipped me out a new table in PERFECT condition. The best customer service ever!! In tough times as these, you need to know that you are spending your money in the right place...Overstock gives me that comfort. BEAUTIFUL TABLE, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS, BUT DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.......PURCHASE YOUR OWN :)

We love this table! It was very easy to assemble, and is very sturdy. The table sits higher than most, which is nice since we end up eating and working at the coffee table. Looks like a much more expensive piece of furniture for a very good price!

Like the other reviews said, the table is a little bigger and taller than it looks in the pic but PERFECT for my living room. Adds class and ties other wood together in a warm way. I like the height for my sofa, my old coffee table was was supercheap and low. Love the shelf, have my favorite coffee table book (Wisdom with Clint Eastwood's pic on the cover) and coasters on the shelf, plant on top. Looks more expensive than the price which was quite reasonable. Love the oval shape-no corners for those of us who bump into things...

So the table top doesn't look quite as nice as the photo, but the price on this was fantastic, so I am not complaining. It looks great in the room, and I am quite pleased. And it was really easy to put together!

This is my first online furniture purchase and I was very worried. The table is very nice, heavy & rich looking. I hope it wears as I really like the style. The height is a little higher than my previous table but that is a plus to me. I also purchased the Sofa Table and they duo looks very nice together. I did run into problems with assembly. The holes were not drilled properly and I had to work to get the bolts in. Also, it can be difficult to put the second shelf on without something to support it while you are tightening the bolts. BUT, end result is very acceptable. Everytime I pass the room, I smile because it looks so nice.

I purchased this table in June of 2006 and I have to say that initially I loved it. It is very heavy and since we have very high profile furniture (large and tall sofa and love seat) this coffee table was the right height and scale. It was about $20 cheaper when I bought it but even at this price, I would purchase another one.The reason for four stars..... I have noticed the finish is not so great compared to other pieces of furniture we have. We have moved a total of seven times in seven years (God bless the Marine Corps!...this table has made two moves) and we have quite a few nicks in this table where other pieces haven't sustained any damage. Here is what I have come to realize... the staining process was probably only about two coats of stain and one clear coat. It appears that the finish just chipped off. The nicks are very noticeable and for whatever reason, the wood won't absorb any new stain. I don't understand that but still, I would purchase again. It is a very pretty piece of furniture and works well in most any decor.

Some problems with 2 of the female fittings. One came out, the other was sunk too deeply. Super glue fixed one, a trip to the hardware store fixed the other. NOW, other than that.....If you live in a tree you should buy one of these! Looks beautiful and worth twice the price.

after reading the other reviews i decided to purchase this table. I have purchased furniture online and have been dissapointed once I put it together. You will not regret this purchase. very easy to assemble. as the other viewer said took about ten minutes. instructions were very easy to follow

The table looks great and is of a way better quality than I expected for the price. It was very easy to assemble and an excellent value with hardly any shipping. This was my first purchase, but I've already recommended this site to friends.
