Like the other reviews said, the table is a little bigger and taller than it looks in the pic but PERFECT for my living room. Adds class and ties other wood together in a warm way. I like the height for my sofa, my old coffee table was was supercheap and low. Love the shelf, have my favorite coffee table book (Wisdom with Clint Eastwood's pic on the cover) and coasters on the shelf, plant on top. Looks more expensive than the price which was quite reasonable. Love the oval shape-no corners for those of us who bump into things...

This table was the last piece of furniture to go in my redesigned living room. It is the perfect size and shape for the room and the sofa. The table top and legs are attractive and good quality, but the lower shelf is similar to a piece of thin, ratty wood that doesn't really match up with the rest of the piece. But being that it was a lower shelf, it didn't bother me as much. I'm really happy with this purchase overall.

Overall best purchase that I have made thus far at Overstock......If you are in the market for a great coffee table that is absolutely stunning and not totally expensive, then purchase this, it will not disappoint. The table that I received initially was marred and had a small but noticeable gash around the edge, called Overstock and wa....la, they shipped me out a new table in PERFECT condition. The best customer service ever!! In tough times as these, you need to know that you are spending your money in the right place...Overstock gives me that comfort. I like the table despite the fact some missing assembling parts. I did not want to deal with requesting the missing parts or returning the table, so I did have to go to the local store and get the parts. Otherwise the table is OK.

Unless you are buying this for a room no one ever goes into -- do not waste your money. The general quality of how it is put together is very poor and the veneer on the beveled edge arrived chipped and has continued to chip at the slightest bump. (not rough handling) I knew this wasn't going to be an amazing solid walnut table, but I expected it to look nice if it was treated well. It's crap.

The coffee table was not as nice as the two smaller versions. Maybe because it can with a chip in it and I don't send things like that back. It also has allen wrench screws which are very hard to tighten up, so after only a few weeks its legs have already gotten loose. UGH. It is a nice table I like the shape and bottom shelf. But would probably shop for something made of wood next time, this is not wood.

I love this coffee table! Looks even better than in the picture. I have a mix of woods in my living room and this coffee table blends right in so well. I had a glass coffee table before which was very nice but I wanted to order this one because I have a new one-year old grandson who comes over and gets into everything and when he tries to pull himself up and hold onto the glass table top, I was afraid it would break and he could get hurt. This table is oval shaped with no sharp corners. It is sturdy and and heavy. It was easy to put together as well! I had to hire a handyman to do mine as I am a single lady but it was worth it! Fast easy shipping delivered right to my door! Some of my friends have viewed this table and they love it too! Looks more expensive than what I paid. I would rate this five stars! Lovely table. Ideal price with a young child in the house. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Table had big ding in the edge of the top surface, so I called O'stock. Within a few days a brand new top was delivered. Outstanding service. Color of table is great. Very warm. Hoped it would match the round end tables I had previously bought and it did. Yay! All in all, outstanding purchase.

I have been looking for a good quality table for quite some time. I had looked at just about every furniture store in Dallas. I saw the reviews on this table and thought for the price I would try it. I am glad I did. What was just going to be a temporary table until we could find a more expensive one we liked is now going to be permanent. The table for the price is great and look way more expensive. Buy it you will not be sorrry.

I bought this two years ago and we have already had to replace it. The table needed retightening every three months or so. The bottom piece finally just broke off. We moved it a lot to have space to do work out videos or for the kids to play Just Dance or other active video games. We also ate at it and used it as an ottoman at times. It was in the main living area of a small home of a large family! If it is more for show in a sitting or formal living room this is a pretty piece of furniture. Just not for a family room, a great room or kids basement area. We finally chucked it and bought an actual ottoman. You also have to be careful when cleaning it. I wet dust and that damaged the finish.

I needed a good sized coffee table for our casual family room, and this table fits the bill. It is the perfect size both height and the oval length looks great opposite the sofa. It was easy and straightforward to assemble The only criticism I have is that the bottom shelf is very thin, but this is a nice, heavy table overall. Beautiful table...especially for the price. The only drawback was one screw hole didn't match up. Had I not improvised with another type screw, I would not have been able to assemble. Otherwise, it is a beautiful piece of furniture and will provide many years of functional enjoyment. It was extremely well-packaged.
