Quite a mirror for the price!!
 from N.H.,  Oct 10, 2007

I am under renovation of 2 full baths and 2 bdrms. I purchased 1 of these to see the quality. I saw this at the local bath/lighting place for $448.00. I was thrilled when I had my contractor look and it and get his opinion of the quality and he thought it was a really nice quality mirror. He almost fell over when I told him how much it cost and the cost of it elsewhere. After I got his "approval" I ordered the 2nd one. They will go in the master bath over dual vanity sinks. You will not find this online anywhere cheaper than $270.00. The company is Allied Brass and they make all this type of stuff. You won't be disappointed.

mirror

This product looks great, installed easily and looks like much more than the cost. Have seen similar mirrors for at least $70.00 more at discount home stores.

Bath Mirrors
 from Maryland,  Sep 25, 2009

I bought 2 of these mirrors to use in a Master bathroom "upgrade". Extremely good value for the price. My husband is much taller than I so you can install these mirrors at the same height and still accommodate our preferred height.

Mixed review
from Cary, NC,  Jan 21, 2009

The mirror arrived quickly, but had a scratch in it. I called & they sent a replacement mirror equally as fast - so I was really pleased from a customer service/shipping standpoint. As another reviewer mentioned, you hardly see the hardware b/c it all rests behind the mirror, except for a plain round piece that is in front - so that was a little disappointing - but the overall look is still very nice. Also, one side of the mirror's hardware doesn't sit flush to the wall, so it's a little wabbly when you try to adjust the mirror - makes me a little nervous that it may fall one day! Perhaps this problem has more to do with our walls than the mirror, though. My greatest disappointment is that after I bought this mirror online, I found similar tilt-style mirrors with more prominent hardware at the two biggest hardware store chains and the mirrors in both stores cost half of what I paid at Overstock :(. So just to recap, it's a goodlooking mirror, but you can find better-looking for a lot less in other stores.

Very nice mirror
 from nj,  Dec 28, 2008

but slightly lopsided. Maybe that's why it was about 60-70% cheaper than I could get it any place else. I believe the 2 holes drilled into the mirror are not exactly lined up. My husband is a carpenter and the mirror is hung perfectly level -- but if you look VERY, VERY closely, you see it's SLIGHTLY lopsided. I doubt anyone else will ever notice it. Overall, it looks very nice in the bathroom, and I'm happy with it.

Bought 2 mirrors
 from Wyoming,  Nov 6, 2008

Mirrors are nice but a real pain to put up. Because i bought two the pain was doubled. A templet would help a lot. Reviews that said the mirrors are rich looking are misleading. They do not look highend, yet not cheap either. Mine went in a large bathroom with a double vanity. They made no dramatic statement but still look nice. I like that they stand off the wall because one partially covers an outlet.

Not as it appears
from Aurora, CO,  Oct 1, 2008

I love the style of this type of mirror and was ecstatic when i found this one for this price on overstock. The beauty of them is the mounting hardware, like jewelry for the bathroom. The picture is taken from a side view and appears to show the mounting hardware. However, when i put it together and placed it on the wall the hardware is totally hidden by the mirror and not seen at all from the front. It should be out to the sides-showing not hidden behind the mirror. All that is seen from the front is the drum shaped peg that holds the mirror on to the brackets. I am going to try to return this item but repacking it will be a challenge. Otherwise I've just wasted $100+ dollars. If your not interested in seeing the hardware and just like to have a tilting mirror it's great quality, heavy glass and nice function. Overall, not at all what i was hoping for.

Looks great in bathroom, is what I expected
from Denver, CO,  Apr 13, 2008

The mirror looks great, however the hardware (rubbed bronze part) arrived with several scratches on it. It wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back, but it was very annoying and if I had bought it as a store where it was easy to return, I would have. It isn't as noticeable as I thought it would be when it's hanging on the wall, so it doesn't bother me as much now. It did take my husband quite awhile to hang...not the easiest mirror to put up. We do really like it though and couldn't find anything anywhere else at a reasonable price.

tilt mirror
 from CA,  Nov 12, 2007

After a major remodel I wias looking for mirrors on a budget. I really liked the look of the tilt mirror but it was twice as much in the stores. I am very pleased with the mirrors I got from overstock. They arrived on time and in one piece. They were just a bit trickly to intall. There were no installation instructions so careful measuring is a must to mount the plates in the exact position. Well worth the time and effort, they look high end!

Reasonable for the the price
 from CA,  Jan 17, 2012

The mirrors are reasonable for the price. It's not a fancy looking mirror, simple looking and works well for a small bathroom. The mirror doesn't tilt much and the hinges are a little stiff but it's adequate.

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Standard oval mirror that works well for my bathrooms.

Great Mirror
from Bay Area, CA,  Jul 22, 2011

Not as hard to install as some of the other reviews had us worried. 2 family members installed without too much trouble. they are very attractive and the tilting option is very nice to get extra angled viewed.

Another excellent product from Overstock
 from Washington D.C.,  Feb 18, 2011

We were considering buying a similar mirror from another retailer but found this one for 1/3 of the price. We put it in our recently renovated bathroom and it looks great. The mirror is sturdy and was exactly what we were looking for.

good enough
from Stamford, CT,  Feb 1, 2011

You get what you pay for. Mounting brackets and finish are excellent, but mirror is not high quality. Minor scratches and just noticeable areas where lack of backing shows through glass. If you want perfect, this is not for you. However, I am keeping it because damage is not noticeable unless you inspect the mirror carefully and the size is perfect for my space.

Great product and service.
from Pensacola, Florida,  Dec 20, 2010

Purchased this product for a remodeled bathroom. The first delivery had a broken mirror. Got a replacement very promptly, but it had a couple of small blemishes. Sent it back (prepaid), and got a new one in. Installation was a breeze. The instructions are good and installation is very intuitive (no tricks). The mirror looks great, and my experience with the customer care people has been very good. They were very professional, helpful and courteous.

Shoddy
from Seattle, WA,  Oct 9, 2010

Purchased this mirror and when I opened the box I knew I was not going to be happy. The "oval" cut mirror was not truly oval. Places along the edge that were not smooth, but dipped in. The apex of the curves on the top and the bottom were slightly offset so that it looks like the mirror is crooked. Others have noted in the reviews that the directions leave something to be desired, that's an understatement. The directions are hand drawn, there is no template and you had better have a good idea of how to hang it before you buy it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS PRODUCT. Overstock you need to do some quality control, this product in shoddy.

Beautiful, but overall size not noted
from DC suburbs,  Sep 7, 2010

I loved this mirror for our guest bath, but the dimension given was only of the mirror and did not include the mounting. It therefore did not fit our bath and I had to buy a smaller size. Really like the quality and the clean look though.

Beautiful!
from San Diego, CA,  Sep 6, 2010

I bought two of these mirrors for our newly remodeled master bath. They are a bear to hang at the same level but look great once on the wall. The mounting instructions leave some to be desired but a tape measure, drill, screwdriver, and some common sense are really all you need.

Love them
from Middletown MD,  Aug 13, 2010

I love these mirrors and how fashionable the bathroom looks now instead of the one giant builders-grade mirror originally placed in the bathroom. We purchased two, and the directions were awful. There was no template as mentioned in the directions. We put the mirrors together and then drew our own template on the outside of the box. We took the mirrors apart, installed the brackets using the template and hung the mirrors after the brackets were screwed into the walls. They are lovely, but the instructions are poor. 4-star because of the lack of quality instructions.
