We keep our Cobb on the glass table on the patio. When friends come over, we fire it up and use it almost fondue style. Everyone can put a little something on there and its highly entertaining! Chicken, fish, burgers, grilled vegetables, even tofu. And you don't have to worry about little bits falling away into the ash. Portable, easy, economical on the briquets too. You won't be cooking big items on there, but if you run out of heat its not a big deal to fire up some more briquets and keep it going. I do agree that you won't really get the charcoal flavor unless you get the little wood smoker made for it. We also managed to ruin the nonstick with some overzealous cleaning, but a little cooking oil works fine.

The only drawback to this grill is there is no charcoal flavor. I can get the same results cooking steaks and hamburgers on the GForman grill. It is however easy to clean and very portable.

I just love my Cobb. I have taken it camping, to pot lucks and at home on my deck. It cooks quickly, without burning and a variety of food can be cooked at the same time. Steak and burgers on the griddle cook to perfection.
Thanks Overstock for having this available. I now have to pick up the additional pieces, although my cast iron fry pan worked just fine on it.

I bought this for my father for Father's Day. We live two time zones apart. He called me bright and early to tell me how much he loved the grill. He intends to use it at home. He is also a great outdoors man and will be talking the Cobb Grill with him on his many trips. He couldn't have been more pleased, which if course pleased me. I highly recommend the Cobb Grill with the Griddle and Roasting Rack for any family that does any camping or fishing etc., as well as at home. It fits nicely into the dish washer and is easy to use too!

This is simply the finest, top of the line bbq grill for the sportsperson, camper, RV'r, or just to have around the house.
Used it the first time at the Gulf Coast last week-end and grilled up a mess of shrimp (the other grills wouldn't even work because of the high winds at the time!).
It is very portable, durable, atractive and exceptionally easy clean up. If you cant afford the $250,000 RV - get this grill! - It's really a head turner because the real sportsperson, RV'r, camper knows this IS the top of the line name - COBB. If your cooking for over 3, get 2 of these!. A little pricey but well worth it.
