    The directions don't specify how to attach it to a fan. My husband put it on our fan with the misters facing into the fan. When turned on the mist was forced, by the fan, into large rain drops (twice normal rain size) so we all got drenched. I turned the nozzle facing away from the fan and then we got a very fine mist.

    • I live in Florida and enjoy being outside even in the summer. I want a misting fan without having to buy a unit that's 110$ plus. Thought this might be the answer I was looking for. I saw the same product at Sears but shipping was more than yours.

    • To attach to a new fan I just purchased, love a misting fan, but they are expensive. This kit will do the trick and the total cost is about half the price. Can't wait!! Phoenix is turning up the heat!!!
