Oster TSSTTVSKBT 6-Slice Large Capacity Toaster Oven, Brushed Stainless Steel I returned the first two because the thermostat was off +100 degrees at the 350 setting, (actually 450 at the 350 setting) as checked by two bimetal oven thermometers. I do most of my cooking at around 300- 350, having the thermostat off by so much isn't helpful. I returned the first two, and the third has the same problem, so it's going back as well.

I really like the even baking/toasting between top and bottom heating units on this oven, I was tired of having both a toaster and an oven for pizza and snacks on my counter. Most ovens don't do that well with toast but this one works great! In fact it works better than most toasters for even heat to both sides. I like that I can put a 12 inch pizza in without it be sqeezed. The easy clean crumb tray is another great feature.

I had been looking for a convection toaster oven with a 60 minute timer that would take a 13"x9" baking pan for months. I could find 30 min. & 90 min. ones in stores, but not the 60 min. one that would take the larger baking pan and that was a convection toaster oven. I'm still learning my way around it, but it's working great. The only issue I have is that the booklet didn't tell too much about the broiler function. That is a hit & miss on getting it not burn your food. Otherwise, it's a great product and I'm not heating up the house with the big oven any more!

This is a very large toaster oven that works very well. If you have the counter space go ahead and get this one. Easy to use and does the job efficiently. The big knobs are nice and a breeze to use. I thought about getting the digital version, but I think this one will be around a lot longer. We use ours frequently, it is great for those small oven jobs for saving energy. A 12" pizza fits fine and is done in 15 minutes. Makes an awesome English Muffin!

This is exactly what I was looking for! This is a great alternative to a regular oven and is so much less expensive (and cooler!) to operate. Plus, the shiny stainless steel exterior makes it look very high end. I've been using this oven to make everything from brownies to fish and I have been extremely pleased. I highly recommend it!

I bought this little convection oven when my regular oven died and my landlord was having issues finding a replacement. I LOVE to cook and bake and was really jonesing for some baked goods so I finally broke down and bought this oven. I haven't regretted that decision yet! The oven arrived at my door a week and a half after I ordered it (I live in Northern California and opted for the cheap shipping). The outer box was huge - around 2'6" square - and the inner box (the original packaging) was a tight fit inside. To get it out, I had to turn the whole thing over onto my kitchen floor. Opening the inner box, I found that the oven was securely packaged in a webbing of Styrofoam so tightly packed into the box that it too had to be turned over to get the toaster free. Otherwise, unpacking and setting up the oven was easy. Just unwrap from a plastic bag, peel off some stickers and plug in. The manual suggests that you run the oven empty for a while to burn off any leftover manufacturing ick. I did do this and the oven gave off some chemical smells for a few minutes but has been fine ever since. Once it was set up to go, I whipped up a batch of my kids' favorite quick bread. It baked up well, looking and tasting as if I had baked it in my regular oven. The only problem I've had with the bake cycle is that the top of breads and cakes brown quickly. I've solved this by adding a piece of foil on top once it reaches the desired brownness. The toasting feature works fine though it does take some time for the oven to heat up enough to actually "toast". I'm quite happy with this oven in regards to its size. I can place 2 large bread loaf pans inside, side-by-side with no problem. My 9" square brownie pan fits BUT my 13"x9" glass pans do not fit - the handles get in the way. I'm sure a roasting chicken could fit inside as long as it's on the small side. What I like the most about this oven is that it doesn't heat up my whole house. This will be great for when we get into the summer months and the heat in my small apartment is unbearable to cook in.

I have enjoyed the oven so far, it is very attractive and has done a very good job on everything I have cooked in it so far. Other than the fact that a 13 x 9 inch pan will not fit in the oven because that is the inside dimensions of the pan. I think I will enjoy the oven and will use it a lot. The reason I bought it was to use it in place of my regular stove to save heating the big oven when I am cooking small things and was hoping to cook cakes in it, so maybe I will be able to cook a cake in a different size pan. I wish that it had a cookbook to better explain the convection cooking as this is the first convection appliance I have purchased.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very good product, baked muffins on convection and they were done quickly and very pretty; made a very good grilled/toasted cheese sandwich, and also made very good egg rolls.

The only misleading description was the statement that a 13 x 9 inch pan will fit in the toaster oven, all the pans that I find that will cook a 13 x 9 inch cake will not fit in the oven because that is the inside dimension of the pan, so that size pan will not fit in the oven, that was the main reason I picked this particular oven, so I was a little disappointed that it would not fit, but I still like the oven and will just try to use a different size pan to cook.

Toaster oven looks good in kitchen...I have received compliments on how nice it is. It's bigger than my last toaster oven so make sure you have enough space. Toastes very evenly compared to my old toaster and convection feature is good when baking.

I thought that a convection oven, the temp or the time was lower. But I have to raise both of them. The food tastes good it just that I don't know how much energy I'm saving when I have to do that.I would send it back but it is to much of a hassle. I still haven't been able to get the broil to work right.

So excited to put this in our kitchen. We had a Toastmaster convection oven for over 20 years that worked beautifully and then went with a built in Micor/convection combo. But we moved due to a job change and were excited to find this Oster as we have several new small Oster appliances. Well we are very disappointed as the temp does not even get up to the temp it is set on as we checked it with our oven thermometer.Had to heat up the regular stove oven after 30 minutes and transfer it to get the brownies up to the right temp. It maxed out at 350 degrees and never made it to 450. Will be taking it back. May try one more time.

How do I love thee, Oster 6-Slice Large-Capacity Convection Toaster Oven? Let me count the ways! This convection toaster oven does it all. Its large capacity ensures that I can bake/toast/roast anything from a large pizza to a casserole to a stuffed chicken or even a small turkey. There are several functions that are easily deciphered, and the instructions mention several times that using the convection feature SIGNIFICANTLY reduces the cooking/baking/roasting/toasting time. The only complaint I have is that I'm old and my eyesight is showing my age. So I used a permanent magic marker to enlarge the numbers on the two dials, and to create an easier-to-see indicator notch on the dial for temperature. As the oven ships, there's a dial with a notch on the side of the dial, but you can't really see where the notch points to unless you have the eyesight of an eagle.

Very happy with the product. It's my first convection oven so I was not sure what to expect. Pros: the size and price.. fits a 12" pizza pan. Easy to use; versitile. Cons: If this is your first convection, read about it before baking... the rule of thumb is lower temp and less time. Toasting regular bread is still a challenge. Six slices will fit, but don't toast evenly.

Another great purchase from Overstock! Love the size, love the quality, and it is big enough to use as a second oven when you are making a large meal. I will warn that if you use the convection button for baking it does speed up baking time.
