Original Double-polyester Rope Swing

I hardly ever write bad reviews, but I felt I had to put this one out there. I have never had a problem with Overstock in shipping, but with this order it was ridiculous. I was sent an email, after waiting about a week and a half, stating that they would not be able to ship it in the promised 3-5 days, too late to send that one Overstock! When the swing FINALLY arrived, it was scratched, but I decided to overlook the flaws because I really thought I would be pleased with the swing. Boy was I wrong. The instructions were terrible and the support bar that is included was poorly designed and did not fit the swing. I would have returned the thing at that point, but my husband had already installed the hardware on our stand. It definitely takes two people to put this thing together (I am usually stubborn and get things together by myself anyway, but not this thing). My husband had to modify the holes on the frame to make the support bar fit. It is fine now to sit in, but it really wasn't worth the headache! Maybe I just got a dud, but I would suggest that you buy a different product.

The swing is great. Very confortable, I would purchase again. The only thing is the hooks are the cheaper ones and they squeek. Definetly have to replace with the bushing swing hooks.

I was looking for a comfortable swing, not just the wood bench type, when I found this one. I absolutely love it! It is so comfortable and very good quality. I can lose an entire day because I don't want to leave it!

I ordered this swing for use on a deck at our beach house on the ocean in Nags Head, NC. We purchased a cheaper one several years ago and it only lasted 3 years. This one seems much sturdier. It is very comfortable. It was reasonably easy to assemble, although the carriage bolts used to secure the extra brace were a little short and took some hammering to get them in far enough to attach the washer and bolt. We look forward to enjoying this swing for a number of years.
