    I have been using this vacuum for a year and it has been really handy for the extra places you can't get to easily. It is a bit cumbersome to carry but not real heavy. Has good pick up. We really like it for our enclosed porch with no plug. The long cord is great and we have lots of windowsills and blinds out there and it works great.

    This little vacuum is completely true to the advertisement: very lightweight (i use the shoulder strap!) and portable, good suction, so easy to use that yes I do vacuum more often! Have a small apartment so it takes awhile to use 1 bag - they are little, so if you've spilled a pile of potting soil, better to save the bag and just sweep it up instead of vacuum. Totally worth the price - does the job of a regular vac in a little version. Nice industrial cord, no cheap skimping on features and their quality. Happy!

    This small compact Oreck Pro 5 is perfect for our RV . I did not want a cordless vac they do not have the suction or the attachments nor the time that always had the battery dead ( and then could not charge cause it took hours and can not run the generator for that) , sooo I really investigated and sure enough this is perfect small for storage .But I am 5'8 and the handle is adjustable + great for storage. Would not be a good vacuum for large home duties. 2 slide RV perfect or car.LOVE the Vacuum.

    • Thank you for shopping with us oreckghh. This has a 4-amp, two-stage bypass motor. The ultimate has a 4 amp motor, information taken from Oreck site. The first is commercial grade motor and comes with a longer hose. I hope this helps. Have a good day.
