Nice (Large) Faucet)
 from CT,  Jul 29, 2007

Pleasantly surprised by the faucet. Well constructed and easy to install. Note that it is very large (the neck is 1-1/8" diameter and the top of the neck is 18" above the counter. So make sure the scale works for your kitchen.

"Grand" faucet
 from CT,  Sep 26, 2007

We received our faucet about a week after we ordered it. It was packaged in the original manufacturer's box in good condition. The faucet is very heavy all metal construction - just as described. It is large and makes a bold statement on our white porcelain double sink. The neck is high and allows for ease in filling big pots. The spray setting is especially nice and can be selected for use until you turn the faucet off, at which time it returns to the normal stream. I really love the faucet and am glad I purchased it. My only comment is that you have to train yourself to keep your hands (or item) down in the sink or due to the height of actual faucet head, the water can splash outside the sink and behind the faucet making a mess. It only took me one day to remember to do this. Overall, it has been a great purchase.

I'm happy...
from Santa Barbara, CA,  Mar 19, 2008

The faucet arrived in just two days! Amazing. My husband is still recovering from the installation process, but this is due more to the way houses are designed (so little room under that sink!) than to any fault of the faucet. Actually, the faucet came with a small roll of plumbers tape, which we didn't need, but I thought it showed an attention to detail that is sadly lacking in most products these days. As stated in other reviews, the spray head does angle back slightly, which I'm not liking. Also, some reviewers suggested removing the washer to increase the force of the water flow. I tried that, as I'm not liking the whimpy water output. That only caused the stream to come out spastically, so we put the washer back and are just going to have to get used to the reduced flow. I was happy about the 'return to stream' feature, but that stopped working after a week. After all the work my hubby hero went to to get this faucet installed, I don't have the heart to ask him to go through this all agian so I can return it. I'll just deal. (I'd already asked him to go back under the sink to change the handle from the right side, which would SEEM to be where you'd want it, to the left side) The faucet looks great and I'm loving the extra room the height provides. The hose is plenty long enough to reach the counter on both sides of the sink (for filling pots outside the sink) and the faucet has a sturdy, well made feel. I think it was a really good value for the money, in spite of the few above mentioned issues.

Danze Pull-down faucet review
from Mountain Home, AR,  Nov 17, 2007

I purchased this faucet because I was impressed with its appearance and the fact that everything was built into one unit (faucet, sprayer, handle.) However, after having used it for approximately one month, I'm dissapointed in 3 issues regarding its function. First, the water pressure, which was quite strong in the prior faucet, has decreased to not much more than a dribble. The plumber stated this is because the water tube provided by Danze that feeds the faucet is too narrow, greatly reducing water flow. I could "fix" this by going out and buying a wider tube and hiring another plumber to install it; but, for the price, it seems this should have been provided by Danze. Secondly, it appears the pull-down sprayer is not weighted properly. The prior faucet, a pull-out, was easily pulled back into place with each use. This pull-down sprayer never re-seats properly and requires a bit of effort to "force" it back into place. Again, for the price, I believe Danze should have provided enough weight to pull the sprayer back without shoving it. Lastly, where the neck of the faucet protrudes up out of the base, it's quite loose and wobbles back and forth and forward and back about 1/8th of an inch. The other faucets in my house move easily but are snug at this juncture. I would not recommend this faucet to anyone else unless they can overlook these flaws.

Beautiful facuet, heavy and classic
from San Jose, CA,  Apr 1, 2007

I love this faucet, it's heavy and classy looking. The goose neck is nicely arched I like the single handle. The pullout works smoothly too. I would never pay $500+ for a facue and even this reduced price was more than I wanted to pay, but I'm glad I did.

Great product
from Knoxville, TN,  Feb 28, 2008

I would recommend anyone to purchase this product. It really fit in nicely with our new granite countertops. I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews with regards to the size, but really once installed it is fine.

Yes - it's BIG!
 from S Jersey,  Jan 4, 2008

After researching what all goes into a great faucet - this one fit every category. We hired a plumber to install it and I noticed that he did not bother to read the instructions. A day or two later, the handle fell off and we had quite a chore trying to locate the tiny hole on the back side for the tiny allen wrench. The instructions indicate tightening the screw BEFORE the faucet is hooked up to the sink. It's easy to keep clean, simple to use except for when your right hand is occupied and you have to reach behind the stream of water to turn it off with your left. I recommend an extra deep sink to go with it - the splash factor could be a problem with a 5" depth. We bought an 8" deep sink and have no problems - just be careful to rinse dishes and hands well below the edge of the sink.

Great Faucet for Those Who Use Their Kitchen
from Chicago IL,  Dec 16, 2007

I do a lot of meal preparation and was looking for a kitchen faucet that had a high clearance, and this model fits that description perfectly. Very well made and works flawlessly. It is not for a small kitchen, however, as the size of the faucet is, to say the least, substantial. It makes an excellent faucet for those who really use thier kitchen to cook in and need to clean up what they use. Easy to fill large pots and makes washing dishes a lot easier. If you're not scared off by its size, this is a great faucet at a great price. Delivery was also quick.

Very nice faucet
from West Windsor, NJ,  Nov 2, 2007

Got this for our new home to replace an outdated faucet. Looks great in the kitchen! Yes, it's large so take that into consideration. I wouldn't install this in a small kitchen like say in an apartment or condo. Excellent price for this quality as well.

Danze faucet
 from Maryland,  Aug 31, 2007

The faucet appear quite large upon first opening the box. However, once assembled to the sink it looked nice. Do note there is alot of water splatter since the faucet has a high arc. Overall, it looks very nice.

A+ upgrade
from Chicago, IL,  May 20, 2010

I replaced my kitchen faucet with a more moderatly priced faucet. To my frustration, that faucet didnt last more than a year!!! I started to research faucets. This one offered the internal and external componets I was looking for at a reasonable price. It is still going strong!!

Beautiful
from Queens, NY,  Jan 27, 2009

I get a lot of compliment on this faucet. It really adds to the decor of my newly renovated kitchen. Like others said the the neck is very high, and water does splash up and I do recommend a deep sink. My contractor installed it in our granite countertop. I love that I can pull the spout and and use it anywhere I need it like filling a pot on the side of the sink without having to drop the pot directly under the faucet. If the sink is full its a pain but not with this faucet. its just so great.

Wow! Now that's a faucet!
from Auburn, WA,  Sep 29, 2008

Love this faucet! Fantastic price for this quality . Installation was a breeze - I did it myself because I was so excited I couldn't wait for the contractor to do it :-) The neck is very high, and water does splash up a bit, but then again, so did my old run-of-the-mill one. Just be careful when turning it on, and be sure to buy this faucet only if you have a deep sink (ours is 10"). This faucet is installed directly into our granite countertop without using the skirt, so if my sink is full, I'm able to sit my pot (or pitcher) on the counter next to the faucet, swing it around, and let it fill up on the clean dry countertop. The handle did come loose and fall off, so periodically check the tiny screw to ensure it's tight (save the allen wrench it came with, or you can get a set at the hardware store).

Great Faucet
from New York, NY,  May 14, 2008

Like other have said, the water seems to flow better and faster. Also the water would splash quite a bit since the head is kind of high, which is a good thing since you can easily put a big pot under it. One minor thing that stops it from me to give it 5 stars though. When installing, you have to tighten it a LOT in order to avoid the faucet from rotating.

Big Honking Kitchen Faucet!
from Cookeville TN,  May 13, 2008

Wow, this thing is very impressive! Took the time to read all reviews so was ready for the splashing, etc. Our plumber had absolutely no problems installing it. Works wonderfully and looks marvelous. Saw the same thing at a local supply store for $433 so it is priced right and is a wonderful addition to any kitchen!

Handle Replacement
 from Boston,  May 1, 2008

I bought this faucet for my newly designed kitchen. It was a bit overwhelming but I like the look with the sink and granite. I have to say I am disappointed in the faucet and with Danze. In less than 3 months, the screw holding the handle to the faucet came out. The screw was lost down the drain. I contacted Danze for a replacement. They emailed and stated to wait 10-12 business days. I thought that long for a tiny screw but waited 2 weeks. I contacted them again as I had not received it. The said they would send another. Waited two weeks and still now part. Now my faucet handle not only damaged my new sink (it is heavy and falls off while we are still trying to use it) but also damaged the granite. We had to stop using the sink, which meant taking everything upstairs to the bathtub or downstairs to the workstation. After 2 weeks, I never received the 2nd sent part and called to speak with management. They promised me to send a third part priority but since it was Friday and they would not pull it until Monday, I would not receive it until Tuesday. The part comes on Tuesday and I go to replace it. When I open the box there is a small screw, no directions (as you never had to install this part in the original installation) and then after searching on line for hours found instructions but it required a special wrench that was not included. Now I have to wait 2 week for the wrench to be delivered. No way¿it is being removed and a new better brand faucet will be installed. Stay away, customer service is polite but do not know what they are doing.

Loved it!
 from Atlanta,  Apr 27, 2008

I was a little skeptical about this product since I got such a good deal on it, but we have absolutely loved it! I actually installed it myself (since my husband wasn't up to the task) after doing a little research on kitchen sinks and the hardest part was removing the old kitchen faucet. It looks great and gave our kitchen an updated appearance. It did take a little while to figure out how low to hold dishes for minimal splash since it is quite a bit taller than our last one, but now we don't even think about it. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase.
