Very nice blind for the money. I'm pleased. They look good and are easy to install. Quite sheer though.

We are spending the summer in PA and had nine windows to cover on our rental. We found these shades on overstock.com and they looked like exactly what we needed,...inexpensive, attractive and functional. They look lovely...we leave them halfway drawn most of the time and they lay very nice. Note, they do not block out much sunlight and they are open weave so I would not recommend if you're looking for total privacy and/or darkness. We didn't need either so they are perfect for us. Ordering was easy, shipment was quick and the price couldn't be beat. We are very happy with our purchase.

Sometimes its hard to guage how something will look from online, especially in regards to color and texture. I read the reviews for these and decided that even if they were absolutely horrible they would still be less expensive than anything I have seen in the stores in my area. I recieved them and they are PERFECT. I also ordered some indonesian place mates and a table runner that looked like they would co ordinate and YES they match perfectly. The quality is wonderful, they are easy to hang and they add so much to the room. Love em!

This is the PERFECT light filtering shade. It allows light to come through, but covers the window and provides privacy.

First Line in description says 'Open Weave blinds hang like a curtain but work like a blind' however they really work like sheers. I had bought these to hang inside window & had planned on using sheers over them as I have done with some beautiful bamboo blinds bought at a large national chain for a very breezy, tropical feel with privacy ... however they were more sheer (from yard looking in) than my sheers. My sheers created shadows but with these blinds, passerbys would be able to see fine details inside the home For privacy, these dictate that you must use curtains with them... yet they are so pretty, I wouldn't want to cover them up with something heavy. I would ONLY recommend these as sheers, not as curtains or blinds.
