I ordered two of these benches for my patio. They look nice and are easy to assemble. Reading the earlier reviews, I thought this would be a lot sturdier than it was. The seat is a softer cloth-like cover. Like you would find on a lawn chair. Not meant to hold a lot of weight. If I were a heavy person, I wouldn't sit on it. I think the seat will start to sag quickly with use, even with an average weight person. Time will tell. But for the price, it's a good buy for us. We needed extra seating on our patio and this looks great. For occasional seating, it's a good buy.
love the clean lines of this design and it's really easy to put together. however, the seat height measurement is off by 2 inches ( it's really 17 3/4" high - think the person who originally measured did so from the inside leg ) and the textilene is a very firm seating surface which will probably take a while to break in ! all in all, i'd recommend it.
