Customer Reviews
This is the flatware that I purchased 46 years ago when I was first married. I have had two other sets of Onida flatware over the years. I feel like I'm back where I started. I am very satisfied with the purchase. Overstock does a GREAT job of offering quality products at a great value to their customers. After having used the Lousiana pattern for the past 10 years I was surprised at the difference in the weight and feel by comparison. Still pleased non the less.
Product was even better than expected. It arrived very quickly. Pricing and Shipping & Handling were the best we found anywhere (and we'd searched on-line and in stores).Thank you.
I have owned a set of this Oneida pattern for several years and decided to buy another 12 place settings to add to it. I compared prices on a couple of other websites and Overstock's price was the best. All of the pieces exactly match my old set except the knives. My set has "hollow handle" knives which look more expensive. In the new set the knives are moulded in one piece. I don't know why they are different. They still look good......... just not as high quality a look.

After alot of comparison shopping I bought this set to add to the set I had received as a wedding gift 35 years ago. While it doesn't exactly match, it is close enough that for the price savings it was a good buy. If you are looking for an exact match for an older set, you won't get that here. But, if you are just buying it to stand on it's own or don't care if it isn't an exact match to what you already have then it's a good buy. You could spend just as much just for the serving pieces elsewhere.

I ordered this set for my mom and thought I was getting a great price; However, upon receipt, I found this was the restaurant quality version - not the version sold at Oneida's website or outlet stores. The knife handles are much thinner and the blades have a different serrating that the community line Chateau. The knives are also made as one piece instead of two like the better quality silverware. The other pieces didn't feel the same in your hand. I've had the community line in the past and it has lasted forever, this was nothing like that quality and feel. This also ships as 68 individually wrapped pieces and if you open even one of the little bags, you will be charged a restocking fee if you return the product. While this product may hold up, if you are used to other Oneida silverware, you will not be happy with this.
