I took a chance and ordered 2 of these after looking (for a LONG time, and doing PLENTY of research)for inexpensive black, modern nightstands, and found these to be a wonderful addition to my condo bedroom. I didn't want to spend a lot, but I also didn't want to sacrifice on style, and this fits the bill. And the fact that it arrived fully assembled...priceless!! They are also sturdy. There was a scratch on one of the legs, but luckily it's on the back of one of the back legs, so it's not visible. For the price, I'm totally satisfied. Now if only I could find a fully assembled, inexpensive armoire to match....!!!

I also took a chance on ordering this item without any reviews yet. One big plus is that it comes fully assembled. Those who don't know what a phillips head is will love this. Mine came in very good condition. The drawer rolls okay, and it seems pretty sturdy. Seems like 100$ would be a more appropriate price to me, but I am not unhappy with my purchase.
I took a chance ordering this even though there were no reviews, because I needed a black nightstand. The best thing about it is that it comes fully assembled. I knew this wasn't constructed of real wood, but I didn't expect its surface to look so cheap. Moreover, there marks--not actual scratches, more like scuff marks--in several areas, the worst of which are located underneath the shelf and, therefore, are not visible when in use. It's not really bad enough to return, but I definitely wouldn't purchase another one.
