For the price this worked for my eleven year old son's room. If it was for some other place in the house I would not recommend it. Doesnt have great slots for DVD's or CD's. They tend to flop and turn sideways and fall out. For a boys room however, it works and he is happy with it. Other drawback is it is made to sit on a hard surface. His room is carpeted so it is a bit wobbly which may be why the items slide out so much. Would only recommend because of price and where the item is being used in our home. Anywhere else and I would have sent back to Overstock for another option.
