I really like these for my deck railing, I have a iron railing and they work fine, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the color green is a shocking ugly green color, I was expecting dark green. Hopefully my plants will cover the color soon..EEEccck

There is more to these planters then I ever expected! They are made very well and of very durable hard plastic, which will last for many years. I found that I can place small potted plants in them without removing the plants from their pots, as well as repotting larger plants into them. The varying space for mounting them is an added bonus for different widths of fences and railings, plus they stand well alone on flat surfaces, which enhances the usability of them well. I see hanging them over many yard decorations that are of a supportable nature such as wagon sides, large wheels, low tree branches, etc. I'm going to have fun "playing" with these pots for a long time.

Excellent for a apartment patio and they look great!

I ordered two of these fence pots in green and it turns out the green is a very lime green which wouldn't go with my yard decor so I sprayed them with some forest green paint made for plastics. They turned out great. They fit perfectly over my chain link fence. I filled them with supertunias that trail half way down my fence and they are stunning. Don't forget to drill out the holes in the bottom of the pots for drainage. I gave them 4 stars because I had to change the color and I thought the pricing could have been a bit more reasonable.

Good plant containers for apartment patio banisters. BUT, don't forget to measure the width of your banisters. I DID!

I was so excited to buy these planters...but..they do NOT fit every rail. I have a normal deck rail and can not use them. but they do look great in the box so I would recommend them only if you have a thin rail
