A fair iron I am using this iron for quilting and I don't use steam for that purpose, so I cannot speak as to the steam capabilities of the iron. I don't think it gets quite as hot on the cotton setting as my old Rowenta did. The automatic lift feature is nice, but I did speak to a lady who said that hers stopped working, so I'm going to make sure to keep all of my paperwork. The 30 minute time period before the auto shut-off is also really nice for when I'm working on quilting.

Great Iron Glides easily, has a nice indicator for when the unit reaches its set temperature. Takes time to get used to the automatic lifting of the device when not being used. I did a lot of research before deciding to go with this hardware and ultimately am still glad I purchased this! Cut's my ironing time in half. Great balance of weight and it just simply slides around on all fabric with ease. Nice press!

My Favorite Iron Ever I just replaced my old Oliso TG1100 iron after 7 years of extremely hard use. I'm a quilter and often use my iron for hours a day. My Oliso has been a loyal and faithful servant for many years. I upgraded to the Oliso Pro model because I wanted the longer cord and longer time before auto shutoff engages. I'm am thrilled with my new Oliso and am sold on this brand for life! While this iron is suitable for anyone, it is a quilters DREAM COME TRUE!
