Of course we were expecting the worse when we found out the sofa was shipping in two pieces!!! How can that be? But, we'd been satisfied with our purchases in the past from Overstock so said what the heck. And it was by far the best price anywhere on a leather sofa and we looked EVERYWHERE! It was delivered right on time and once we got it out of the carton and rather quickly put it together we assumed since it looked so good it wouldn't sit very good. But it DOES! Looks great, sits great, cats like it, too. Had some cosmetic flaws that Overstock took care of right away. Go ahead, bite the bullet and buy this sofa!!!!!!

If I had been able to see this sofa in person and sit on it, I would not have bought it. It looks nice enough but I rarely sit on it because it is not at all what I expected, and I feel like if I use it much it will wear out in no time at all.The cushions are VERY soft - more like squishy pillows than sofa cushions - both the seat cushions and the back cushions.And the leather feels very thin and is easily scratched. So basically the only people who sit on this are visitors - my husband and I rarely sit on it.It just isn't comfortable for me and I was expecting much firmer cushions.

This sofa looks good, assemble very easily, and is cheap. You get what you pay for because it is not leather. Its Bi Cast Leather. Basically a very very thin layer of leather type material (leather fibers pressed into a flat sheet) and glued to a synthetic material for strength. The thin leather type material on top will peel back pretty easily if its scratched hard enough. For a non leather sofa this is not such a great deal.

Easy to put together but instructions are a must. Didn't realize the instructions were on out OUTSIDE of the box, duh. The cushions are kind of hidden in the packaging but overall, once we got everything figured out it's a beautiful sofa, especially for the price.Two dogs all over it and their nails haven't made a scratch. Would recommend!

The couch comes and when assembled, looks just like the photo. It won't astound anyone but makes a nice appearance. I needed a couch for my professional waiting office and it fills the bill.

I had been looking for a leather sofa for quite a while but could not afford the prices. When I found this one at O.com, it looked comparable to one I had seen in a furniture store that was over $2,000. I am pleased to say that this couch looks great, is very comfortable, and durable to withstand my cat and dog.Note that it was damaged in shipping, but Overstock worked with me to compensate for the damage. If you order this couch, be sure you inspect the boxes for tears and rips before accepting the package.

Received sofa yesterday. Put together by myself. Would've been easier with another person, but still simple and straightforward. I have a very small living area, so this sofa is the perfect size. I previously purchased the oval back zebra chair, and they look wonderful together.

Too soon to rate anything 5 stars. We've only had it a couple weeks but expect it to last a decade. The color, texture & appearance of the leather is terrific; just what we expected. Assembly was pretty much a no-brainer. During assembly, however, as I couldn't help but notice that the framing wood seems kind of flimsy. Will it hold up over time? Eventually sag here and there? Once assembled, it seems very sturdy and attractive. I feel like we got a great bargain.

this is a great sofa! the brown is warmer than the photo. it ships in 2 boxes, so that it fits through any size doorway, which is what we needed to get it into our family room. easy to assemble if you follow the directions.
