I picked this product because I wanted something that was durable, simple in design, and appealing to the eye. This product is all of that. I love that it is glass and stainless steel, not plastic and the grinder itself is carbon steel.

Sturdy with 6" high thick glass and stainless steel grinder. Easily able to adjust size of grind. Since it is top loaded, there are no stray pepper grins left on the table to clean up.

I bought this grinder to mill my yorkie's chicken bones. I previously purchased the electric grinder which us great but not for milling the bones. This one is perfect and so easy to use!

I bought this a couple of years ago as a Christmas present for my husband who has gone thru many pepper grinders over the year. So far this grinder has held up to his daily use.

Great looking, great grinding. I have salt in one and saved the pepper that came in the other one for later. Very good quality. Shipped very fast, as usual by Overstock. I've only had them a week or so, but I'm very happy with them.

This was a gift for a man who enjoys cooking. This pepper mill has a substantial feel to the base and top. There is an adjustment for the coarseness of the grind and it is easy enough to fill. Looks like it could last for a while but only time will tell. I do have to get used to turning it over to dispense the pepper as the one I am used to using dispenses the pepper from the bottom.

I have been using this pepper mill for quite a few months now and the ease of use is great. No clogging and the right amount of pepper is dispensed depending on the grind setting used. Great addition to have in the kitchen for seasoning food while cooking and at the table as well.

i had a plastic grinder i got elsewhere and it didnt last long this one should grins nice and fine, and th e grinder is all metal it should last fo r along time. it is quite heavy . we like it

After my old pepper mill died I had been using the one time use grinders that come as part of the container when purchasing peppercorns in the supermarket. Olde Thompson Bavaria Pepper Mill is a big step up. Very wide range of grinding, very course to fine. It comes filled with good quality peppercorns. It is hefty and has a nice feel. For the money it appears very well made. I think it is a great buy. So why not 5 stars? Well, I am a tough grader.
