We live where wind is a problem and these are substantial. Also needed a light where it the hookup was centered. These fit the bill just fine. Going to order more for replacements for older lights. We put in some motion adjusters; they can just be screwed in, if you so desire.

I bought 3 of these for my patio, and I absolutely love them. The lights are heavy duty and really beautiful too. You won't find lights this well built at anything near these prices in retail stores. Highly recommend them.

I ordered 5 of these. They are beautiful, and work well on my craftsman home. Time will tell if they hold up, but they seem like good fixtures.

I bought 2 of these as replacement lights and liked them so well that I bought two additional units so that I could replace all of my outdoor lights. The units feel substantial and the glass's aged effect looks very nice. The units were easy to install. The white spirals of typical compact fluorescent bulbs clash with the look of the fixture.

Good quality product and great deal. My husband installed 3 of these lights at our seasonal cabin a few weeks ago. Very happy with workmanship and appearance and durability thus far. Will know more after a Maine winter how they hold up long term. In the meantime, we are enjoying these very attractive and fuctional exterior lights.

bought this to hang outside door to new home. The house is/was a gutted "Katrina home", a small cottage that we are renovating ourselves. It isn't completed yet, so I can't say anything about ease of assembly, no electricity installed yet. The fixture is unique, I love the cattail detail and the rippled glass is beautiful. The "olde bronze" finish looks a little cheap up close, but I think that with the light installed outside and when it is on at night, this will be negligible. Good quality for the price, plus I got it during the 10% off sale.
