Love the new canisters. They look handmade, very polished and add just the right bling to my kitchen. The lids secure to the canisters tightly however the rims are made of plastic so I'm not sure how long they will continue to be tight fitting. I would definitely buy again.Read More

I thought the tins would be rustic and feel authentic. Instead, the hammer marks are in straight lines and it definitely looks like aluminum that came out of a machine. The canisters are thin and lightweight, not durable feeling; and the lids don't come anywhere close to sealing. They barely sit on top of the containers. Very disappointed in this product.Read More
They have seals, but they are worthless. The metal is so thin and flimsy that they don't seal. These will not keep the ants out. They are also smaller than they seem. They are not big enough to hold a 5 pound bag of flour in the large one and a 5 pound bag of sugar in the next size down like my previous ones did.Read More

will any of these hold a five pound bag of sugar or flour?
Hello bswofford1, The 4.0 quart Container is ideal for a 5 pound bag of sugar. Thank you for shopping with us.
are these lined with anything or does the flour or sugar come into contact with the metal? Also, do the lids provide an airtight seal??? I am not familiar with "fresh seal" terminology. Thanks
Hi cookerbear, unfortunately these canisters don’t have liners. They are air tight lids. Thanks for your interest, hope this helps!
The picture shows some kind of a pattern on the middle of each piece. Is this a reflection/shadow or is is a viewing window?
Thank you for your question on these lovely canisters. These do have a hammered finish and come as pictured, with the 'marks' on them. I hope this answers your question.
Dimensions given produce a rectangle, but the picture shows them as round--which is it? If they are round, could the proper dimensions be listed?
The dimensions for the width and depth indicate that they are slightly oval and the quart sizes are indicated as well to help determine size. We hope this helps and thank you for your interest.
They are round..not oval..just received them yesterday and they are perfect..the dimensions given are for height with the cover on, width and depth with the cover off
