This product arrived with a heavy petroleum like odor that gave me a splitting headache when I first started to use it. I put it out in a protected area of the porch, and the odor is very slowing dissipating. Other than that, the prodcut is as advertised. It must be the material used in it. A nasty smell.
Overall, I think this is a great product. It arrived fully assembled and pretty quickly, about a week I'd say. They are very sturdy and weighty, no worries of them tipping over. The surface is clean and supple. The removable tray works well, although it is rather heavy, children may have some difficulty with it. They color is true to the picture, the deep espresso matches my other espresso wood decor well.The two minor gripes I have are that the faux leather smell is VERY strong, I wouldn't put anything in it that you don't want smelling like pleather until you spray it down with febreze, etc. The cubes also stand relatively high, so it makes the angle a touch uncomfortable for my older sectional, but works perfect for my contemporary tapered side chair (also from Overstock).I do a fair amount of shopping on this site, and this purchase went without a hitch like many of my other Overstock purchases. I bought two of the Ottomans, initially, and I'm considering a third. Hard to beat for the price.
