I put it together all by myself! And it is sturdy, comfortable,,but not for a big person,,it is not as big as some I have seen,,,but just right for up to 200lb person I would think. Very nice looking !

This a great chair. The swivel is smooth the lean back is nice. With regard to the assembly, I read many comments about the arm holes not lining up.... the trick with this is to be careful not to fully tighten any part of the arm, until all screws are in place. If you tighten the top portion, you will not have the give you need to line up the bottom portion. This chair arm is designed to use a bit of tension in it for added strength, so if you keep the bolts loose until every arm bolt is in place then tight them all at the end you will have as much difficulty. Also, the bottom portion, appeared in-properly aligned. Part of the wheel socket was not fully recessed into the wood portion on several random wheel sockets. I was concerned upon assembly, that the whole chair would be crooked as a result. However, this was not the case. When all was said and done the chair came together perfectly and I am very pleased with the outcome. For the price and style, I would definitely purchase again.

The chair was a great fit for our other black office furniture. Unfortunately the paint job (sprayed on) was not complete for the bottom edge of the back of the chair. We contacted the supplier, sent photos and our order number and a replacement back arrived about a week later at no additional charge. The replacemetn was fine. Took about 30 minutes to put together. I would have measured better for the height of the arms as they did not fit under our desk, perhaps b/c there was a keyboard tray. Otherwise a good value and style.

I loved the look of this chair and the price - did not want to spend more than twice the price on the one that came from a higher end store, but I wanted the look of the chair because the desk I have is from that higher end store. I almost returned it, though, because getting the arms to line up was a serious pain and I actually chipped the finish in my struggles. I came on here and re-read the reviews and have to thank the person that wrote about NOT tightening up the three screws that secure the back until you get the arms lined up. That is contradictory to the directions, but the ONLY thing that worked. I would have saved a good 30-40 minutes of frustration if I had read that first. Other than that, it goes together easy (and once you know the trick, it's very simple.) The finish can get dinged easily as I proved, but a little black marker and nobody will ever know. I am a bit more than 200# and the chair is very comfortable. I also love that it raises as high as it does - no keyboard tray needed! All other chairs I've tried are too low for me and I thought I'd have to sit on a pillow, but this one is perfect. Rolls easily and looks great. In short, I went from frustrated to loving it in a matter of minutes.

Assembly is very difficult... do not follow the instructions, you have to keep all fasteners loose until chair is fully assembled and then tighten each fastener evenly. I couldnt get the screws down enough on one of the arms and was unable to put the hole plugs in. Because of how tight the components are once assembled, I think the arm pieces have cracked a little where they 90 down. This is the only drawback, other than that it is a nice chair very comfortable, high quality products... The thing would have fallen apart during assembly if the parts werent well made.

I bought this chair for my wife for her school work and to place in an alternate study of the house. It was a surprise for her and she loves it. It matches the decor of the room and is very fumctional.I would definitly recommend this product to others especially for the great value. I had proced other chairs that cost much more and this one was a breeze to put togeather!

I ordered this chair to go with the desk my husband and I were building in our family room since our house is very open concept, I wanted a chair that had more furniture style than the typical office chair. We love this chair and it gets used everyday. the grand kids even use it when they visit and we need an extra chair for games.

The good: it looks nice when (if?) you get it together. The bad: I spent at least an extra hour trying to grind out the metal frame support to get the caster wheels installed. The rest of the assembly went reasonably well. I think a few people commented that the finish is REALLY thin. I think they could paint a hundred of these with one can of spray paint, as thin as it is applied. Barely a dusting and it does scratch easy.

I just received this chair, and it took me all of 20 minutes to put together. A number of people complained about having to wrench the arms into place to attach them, and I found the trick to this. Despite that the instructions say to fully tighten the screws when you attach the back to the seat, instead screw them in and leave them sort of loose. Then attach the arms as per the instructions, tighten everything up, and you're good to go. Other folks complained about broken casters, and I think the company must have gotten wise about how they were packing them. With mine, the casters were separate from the legs, and so they were in fine shape. In certain spots the paint isn't as smooth as I would like, but no one is going to notice this but me. Also, I can already tell that the paint will scuff easily, but as it is black, tough ups should be a breeze. Great chair for the price!

We use this chair in our home office and both my husband and I think it was a good purchase for a great value. Comparable products were significantly more expensive and I doubt the quality was significantly better. The chair is very solid and comfortable. It spins great and it is nice that it is adjustable.

I love this chair. It looks fantastic. I have been looking for an office chair to match the existing decor, and this chair fit the bill perfectly. Not only does the chair look splendid, the price was so much better than similar chairs. I'm very satisfied.

While I like the look of the chair, not sure how comfortable it will be for a full workday. Putting this chair together was not easy. Thankfully, I read the reviews and those who told me NOT to screw all in tightly were right! If you screw the screws tight, there is no way the arms will line up. Just do it enough so it hold for you. It's very frustrating!! Let's just say I got a complete upper body workout trying to put this thing together. Also a phillips head screwdriver was a help. Honestly for the price overall not a bad deal for the most part does feel/seem well made. Chair paint also seemed to chip off very quickly, so keep the sharpie handy!

This chair is easily worth the money, so much so that my girlfriend ordered the exact same chair. It is will made and looks just as you hoped it would based on the picture. My order arrived quickly from what must've been a local warehouse in Southern California (it was literally on my porch the next day!) Assembly was a little challenging and I am VERY handy with tools. The key is just leaving all the screws loose until you get them all started (the instructions say to tighten the back screws, but do not do that, you will never get the front screws to align.) It comes with screw cap covers that must be tapped in with a rubber mallet. There are 2 covers that you will have a hard time getting in on the back of the chair as there is no way to get a mallet in there. I damaged one cover trying to push it in with a screw driver tip, but was able to phone the company and have a replacement sent out almost immmediately. Once assembled, the chair is very sturdy and all the functions work well. It reclines, rotates and raises and lowers. You can lock the recline option by pulling out the contrrol handle. You can also adjust the tension on the recliner. The chair is comfortable to sit in, but I can see your back getting a little sore if you were there for extended times (no padding on the back.) Overall, this chair is a great value and I would definetly recommend to anyone looking for a stylish chair to complement their home office furniture. Especially when you consider the same chair a t**** is almost 3 times the cost!!!

I bought this chair because it looked identical to one at **** selling for $499. Overall the look is the same and the chair was good quality. The only issue was when I put it together, some of the screws didn't quite fit the way they should per the instructions, so it took a bit of fudging to get it all to fit together. The two arms still hav ea small gap where they connect, but I don't think it will cause any issues.

Order arrived promptly!! My teenage son assembled without issues. Lovely looking chair and good quality for the price. Padding on seat very comfortable and back leans with you easily. Swivels and rolls across floor nicely. I prefer more lower back support but no complaints on this purchase. I am impressed.
