Office Chairs

For many of us, our office chair is the one chair we spend the most time in. Whether you're logging long hours in the workplace or spending some time at your computer in your home office, you want a chair that is both comfortable and functional.
There are many different styles of office chairs out there. However, if you're spending long days at your desk, an ergonomic office chair may be your best choice. In fact, most office and computer chairs will have at least a few ergonomic elements to keep you comfortable while you work. Designed to reduce stress, an ergonomic chair works with your body to provide support all day long and eases the strain of sitting and performing repetitive motions.
Of course, you can't forget style when you're selecting an office chair for yourself. Do you prefer a more minimalist, modern design? Or do you love the look and feel of a leather executive chair? There are plenty of comfortable, supportive office chairs in just about every style. Pick out something that coordinates with the decor of your home office furniture and decor.
Do you often have guests or clients in your office? Maybe you even hold a few meetings in there throughout the week. Make sure others are comfortable in your office as well with a few arm chairs or club chairs they can pull up for meetings.
A well-functioning office is one you're comfortable in, and choosing the right chairs can make all the difference.

This wasn't an overstock it was an obvious second, Quality control reject. You could see where holes were drilled in the wrong place and plugged the wood had imperfections. Wrong hardware was contained. In fairness to them I didn't return or contact them. I live on an island so I made do and made it work. You pay high retail for a factory second.

  • Not really for very tall people....

I replaced a normal office chair with this one, and the old 'normal' one fit my tall body better than this 'big & TALL' chair. Not worth the money. At least slight false advertisement. My knees hang off the edge a good 5 inches providing no support for my legs. Back support is fair. I'm 6'5".

  • Clutch Office Chair with Black Mesh Back and Seat

    macscottie  from Kenmore. Washington, Rating:4.0

Last chair I bought from (Other source) I paid $500 plus, It lasted bout 5 years started falling apart after 3. It was Mesh back started popping staples etc , , , This one I paid bout $**plus , Good Quality, easy to put together, ( make sure you WD-40 Parts etc . . .) Only thing hard to see in pics is mesh is only back support, nothing in between. So far so good. If it last a year? Same difference with higher priced chairs.

This is a fairly decent reproduction of the Time Life Building chairs and you sure can't beat the price compared to spending several grand for an official manufacturer. I purchased the red chair to compliment an original white tulip table with a white nesso lamp. As I said before, you can't beat the price and the chair is very attractive from every angle. It's hard to believe this was designed nearly sixty years ago. Lastly, no one will mistake this vinyl for leather. That being said, I actually like the vinyl look which is another time capsule to mass production in the sixties. The chair only took ten minutes to unpack and assembly. I've purchased a few other mid century reproduction pieces from Modway and they've always arrived well packaged from Overstock.com.

  • Seat is too small

    Oct 15, 2014

    MichaelAlbany  from Philadelphia PA, Rating:4.0

Overall it is a good chair and if you are looking to sit upright in it you're golden. I on the other hand tend to sit with my legs crossed and on the seat. At 6' tall that means I need a large seat to fit all these legs onto it. Though this chair measured large enough much of the seat is under the lumbar support and not actually usable for me. I REALLY wish this chair had worked for me because otherwise it was perfect. It just didn't fit my sitting style. As I am self employed I live in my office chair and it needs to be comfortable and fit my less than normal sitting style.
