This desk is beautiful! We wanted something with enough surface space to work on homework comfortably at the computer, and its perfect. Its very sturdy and very easy on the eyes. I love the glass shelves. However, if my husband did not love a challenge we would have left it in the box! The directions instructed us to attach "2" and "10" using fastener "B." The problem was that the pieces did not have numbers on them. The identifying stickers were all missing. This package must have slipped past quality control! But other than the added assembly challenge of no discriptions, it is a wonderful desk at a great price!

My husband had no problems putting this desk together, it took about 3 hours to do it but once done, the desk looks absolutely geogeous. All parts were inside, easy to assemble, appearance is very ellegant and as a matter of fact we are thinking about getting an additional one.

The instructions were two pieces of photocopied paper. They were not very clear and the parts lists were not labeled correctly. The actual parts were not labeled at all and came in three VERY heavy and very large boxes. Once it was *finally* put together, it is a large, sturdy desk.

This desk has been the bane of my existence for the last 3 days. Not only was it shipped to me in three separate deliveries over 5 days, but when I recieved it, I learned that "assembly required" meant "I hope you have a degree in carpentry". It was very difficult and time consuming to put together and there were many defects. Bottom line: its a nice desk and very sturdy, but the head ache isn't worth it.
