It's a nice unit and I realize the dimensions are given, but it still seems smaller than expected. There were no directions on how to put it together, but I figured it out fairly easily. Once built it is solid. It's a pretty unit but definitely an accessory and not a centerpiece unit. I think it is over priced as well. It's a $$ unit at the most. But, not unhappy with it other than over paying.

This is a nice little bookcase that went together easily. It's solid and fairly well made, a couple of the decorative side slats where slightly warped otherwise I might consider 5 stars.

Oh my goodness, I certainly learned my lesson about measuring before i purchase a piece of furniture. It was literally dwarfed in the area I intended to put it so ended up moving it to my bedroom and it's now currently in my office. DVDs fit nicely and it would probably work good for paperbacks or maybe small children's books. It was packaged well but I found the directions to be a bit confusing.

This is a great bookshelf. Even though I was expecting it to be a little larger, it fits quite nicely in my living room, and holds all the books I intended it to. It was a little tedious to put together, but easy enough, and it seems sturdy and looks great.

Very nice item which fits perfectly where we wanted it. It is not big at all so watch the measurements. We needed it as a item to hold various things next to my wife's lift chair so for that it is fine. It is quite attractive for a small item and was easy to assemble.

I needed a book case but couldn't find one that was not to deep so I just left out few shelves and it fits my needs. the two shelves not high enough for my hardcover books I use for paperbacks so all is good.

Arrived early than expected, assembled it in 30 mins., fits all my stuff, and the I'm very surprised how great the quality is.

It arrived in just 3 days and assembly took about 30-45 minutes but the instructions were easy to follow. Good quality, and we are able to store a lot of our DVD, and old VHS cassetts that we've had for years and it looks great. Very sturdy and it's perfect in our livingroom and the price was even better. I highly recommend this media shelf, it's great.

It came in a very secured/bubbled package. the material is on the top quality, i should say. the parts/screws/washers are complete. it's easy to put together. the package came in a timely manner. i was not paying attention when i ordered it. it's a media shelf not a book shelf which what i really wanted. i wonder if they make a bookshelf of this kind? it would be great.

Just wish it was a little bigger. The color is not medium oak. It is a strange dark wood color, with some orange/red in it. It does not match any of the wood in my house. But, returning it would be a pain, so keeping it in the basement.

I use it for my entertainment system for my DVD player, cable box, and I've also stored all my movie collections. I tell yah, I love this shelf cabinet, it looks very nice and goes perfectly with my wood furniture at home. Very sturdy and it makes the room look very nice and classy. I definitely got a good deal! Finally had the time to put this Bungalow Media Shelf up and I have to say it is a solid piece of furniture with a beautiful finish. I've purchased numerous mission style furniture from the Big O in the past and this is definitely another one of my favorites. Earlier this year I got the nesting tables and end table and although I am not sure if they're from the same manufacturing company, the finish color is a true match with one another. I am very happy with my purchase. The assembly process took about an hour like the previous reviewer, but the dimensions is as what the Big O put onsite. I am not sure how the other reviewer said the shelf is four inches height. Odd. If your a mission style lover and in need of a bookcase, this is a definite Go! Delivery was only 4 days and the package arrived safe and sounded. Highly recommend, again only if you love mission style like I do.

Arrived extremely well packed. Was easy to put together. Solid wood including the back, which is highly unusual. A good size and looks good .Would recommend to anyone .

The size is exactly what I was looking for and it was easy to set up, it did not take very long. The quality and color is great and the solid wood is great, good quality wood. The compartments provides all the room I need.

The quality of this furniture is great, we've stored a lot of things on all the shelfs ever since we got it months ago and it is very sturdy. We have the radio, books, etc. so many things on there and it's quite strong. The best thing about it, is that we great quality and we paid less for it and the assembly was easy and fast to do. So glad we got this one for the house.

I'm very hopeful that I purchase this shelf for all my things, it provides all the need that I was looking for. Plus I got less costly but fast delvery from Overstock and easy directions to follow when assembling the shelfs. The shelf is sturdy and the wood is made out of solid good quality wood, and that's very important for me.
