I bought this table for our office. It is the perfect size and height. Most of the other tables where too wide or not high enough. It is a sturdy table with the shelf on the bottom. It was a snap to put together. I looked at other web sites and the cost was almost a third more! You will not regret buying this table. I also received it in a jiffy! Hope this helps those of you on the fence. Overstock is the best time saver I have found!

Great tables, but would have been easier to assemble with better directions. The company suggested assembling the tray to the legs so the legs would fit correctly - it worked but after a lot of frustration. If the legs/table were labelled (Right Front, Right Rear, etc.), it would have been much easier to assemble.

This table is made of solid wood. I chose it because it fits in a small space. The manufacturer appears to exercise no quality control. A dowel for attaching the bottom shelf was broken off and no instructions were enclosed. I did receive an e-mail copy of the instructions from overstock and a $20 refund since sending it back is costly. But I still have to figure out how to drill out the glued-in end of the broken dowel and get a new dowel to put in. This problem could be solved by the manufacturer using decent wooden dowels. You would think it hard to go wrong with a dowel but in fact there are cheezy ones and decent ones. These are of such soft wood and poor shape that they can break off while leaving a base glued in place. overstock needs to put pressure on the manufacturer to improve the quality of product they send out. Cheap to manufacture doesn't need to mean unusable product.

Just a nice, well made (so it appears) little table. Can be used for more than a telephone table of course, I have it next to a nice armed comfy chair . It can also be incorporated into basically any decor because of it's simple enough lines.. A good price for this item as well.

I really like the appearance of the table. The wood on the top is beautiful. I would have given this a five, but had one problem with assembly. Everything went fine until the last step. When attaching the knob to the drawer it says to attach with the short wood screw. Well, I used the only screw left after attaching the legs. After trying to attach the knob, I quickly figured out what they had sent was not a wood screw. It was a regular silver screw, which would not tighten enough to hold the knob in place. I had to fight with trying to get the knob back off so I could use a different wood screw that I had. After along while, I got the wrong screw off and when I used my wood screw, it worked OK. I am still glad I bought this, just wish they had sent the correct screw with the knob.

I only bought this item after reading all the reviews. Everyone was pretty much on the mark. I love this table and I'm going to buy another, bigger one. It looks great on my white oak floors. The top wood is beautiful and looks like good quality wood, I'll try to discribe the color. The darker wood is like a dark oak or light cherry, it's rich looking with a reddish tint. Kind of like our dashound or the deep chestnut color of a horse. The lighter color is an antique whiteish - with a hint of yellow tint to make it look old. It came in a week. Here comes the but, the only complaint I have is the one wooden tip that fits into a hole, was split or smashed. I followed the advice of the other reviews and used wood glue on it. I accually used wood glue on all the tips and rubber-banded the legs with tension. And waa laa. It's beautiful.

Very attractive and functional -- perfect for our purposes. I had to call the company to find out what "solid wood" meant as the Overstock description did not specify this. I had to buy slider caps for the legs, a minor inconvenience, to protect our newly-finished wood floors. These nailed in easily to the small holes already at the bottom of the legs. The two colors are beautiful and complement our wood floors, although I think they would look good on carpet or tile as well.

I had to return this because it really is not antique white! The lighter color is more like a light wood color with yellow undertones, like pine! Think that calling it "antique white" is beyond a stretch! it's not even an off-white! Maybe they mispackaged mine....otherwise, the craftmanship seemed fine

Cute little table for a small area. Like the natural wood contrast to the antique paint finish. Works for what I wanted.

Just what we needed--sturdy, easily assembled, cute and the right size for bedside. Wish there was a dresser to go with the 2 I bought!
