This ladder is all that I could have asked for. It delivered in great time for the project that I had in mind. It was too high even for me at the scaffold position for inside the house to paint, however it can be greatly appreciated if used outdoors for window maintenance for a short 5'1" person like me. I used two shorter saw horses and a 12' length plank to make the scaffold for my wall work, and still appreciate how sturdy it is for that. It is light enough for me to carry while it is in the folded position, since I am a woman with little upper body strength. It opens and locks firmly with the clicking sound to alert you that it is locked. The feet hold firm. The only complaint I have is that the plastic on the bottom of the ladder legs were cracked and should have been packaged for the rigors of transportation. It does not interfere with the structure or integrity of the ladder in any way, except for the fact that they were not complete pieces. All in all I love this ladder, thank you O for the great price and quality.

This is a wonderful ladder with multiple uses. It's steady as a ladder, can be used instead of saw horses, useful for reaching difficult spaces and very portable. We have this ladder instead of the 3 ladders we used to use.

Very handy, light weight and easy to operate. Great to have around the house.

What a perfect way to acquire a huge ladder when you don't have a huge vehicle to bring it home, and don't want to spend $300 for a foldable ladder at the hardware store. Ladder is exactly as described, and I feel safe using it.

I needed a ladder that I could use around my house. With lots of painting, some cathedral ceilings, I needed something that could reach those tall places. Also needed a ladder I could move around myself. This ladder fits the bill perfectly. Easy to assemble, and easy to use. I am sure there are other ladders similar to this of higher quality, but the price point is great, and the ladder is certainly what I need. One thing I would mention, is the rungs of the ladder are narrow, not the wider "steps" that you wound normally find on a ladder. This did not bother me, but it could be a concern. Overall, a very good product that I would purchase again.

Before purchasing this ladder, I read some of the previous reviews and it seemed that the packaging was flimsy and several people had damage to the ladder when it arrived, so I contacted Overstock to ask if the packaging issues had been resolved. I was assured that they had. It arrived without damage, but I think I was just lucky. The outside box was too thin to hold such a heavy item. The ladder was in manufacturer's plastic wrap, then wrapped half-way with one thin strip of bubble wrap and placed in a thin box that was way too big. The ladder slid around inside the box when I picked it up. That aside, the ladder seems to be of good quality and performs as advertised.

The problem I had was similar to a previous review. The shipping package was totally inadequate to ship such a heavy item. One of the legs on the ladder was bent. Rather than go through the horrible returen experience I was able to straighten the leg and it functions just fine now. Would not order this product until they change the shipping package to a more secure box.

I felt the product matched the on site description and the quality was in line with the price. We don't require the use of an extention ladder on a regular basis but there are a few home repair and maintenance tasks that make this necessary. We did not want to spend top dollar for some of the more elaborate ladders of this type/style. This model provides what we need for a reasonable price. I am satisfied with this purchase.
