My 11 year old and I built the set and it went together easily. We bought the set to use in an tiny apartment in the city (380 sq. ft)and we haven't put it to the test yet. The stools are lightweight, but everything seems sturdy. We bought a little convertible sofa too and the 'leather' matches perfectly. I like that the stools fit under the table so the foot print is small. Also, the stools are a good height for extra seating. Excellent value for the money!! Tip: tape the key to the bottom of the table so if you need to take it apart you can!

This dining set is the perfect size for our smaller eat-in kitchen. I put the entire set together in about 45 minutes. The directions are simple and the package includes everything you need to assemble the set. The chairs are comfortable and sturdy, and the table size is good for two people to eat at. This piece is an excellent buy, a perfect price for a darling dining set!!!

It's adorable for a breakfast bar. I enjoy every time I sit down. It is quite attractive.

Pieces were damaged in transit and had to be replaced. It is the correct size and fits in the kitchen. Not as sturdy as my old set, but will do for a one person household. I don't expect it to last for years.

Super cute table, I get many compliments on it. Very easy to build, I could have done the stools myself but my boyfriend built them for me. It is smaller than I thought it would be so dont expect it to fill a huge dining room. This table is perfect for a one bedroom or two bedroom apartment. I also like it a lot because I had two bar stools that I wasnt sure what I would do with, but I was able to use the bar stools as the main sitting chairs and put the stools that come with this on the side and it still looks really cute and not bulky. I got the bar stools on overstock as well a while back ago. I looked for a long time for this table and never seemed to find anything better, so glad I purchased this. Really completed my entire apartment.

The set appears taller than it really is. Especially when putting it together it feels very small. Once together, it does seem ok height. I do worry about its stability though, some pieces were already cracked before beginning assembly, and made worse during assembly. We are hoping to dress it up to make this rather cheap looking piece look half way decent. In that case it works.

This table took me about 1 hour to set up, and I was so nervous at first but everything was there, and I followed each step and it is one sturdy, darling table with benches... My only complaint is the directions for the table say "two men need to carefully lift the table over and set up" I am a 60 year old woman and I did it solo.... duh! I've very happy with it in every way.... thanks!

I love this little breakfast set. I was unsure of how sturdy this would be, but now that I have it all put together, it is very sturdy and heavy. Not too heavy to move or anything, but heavy enough that it isn't going to get knocked over. I would recommend this to anyone. The only thing that I wish was different was the way the seats were shipped...they were just in the box with no protection over the seat - in shipping, one of the seats must have been pushed hard against the dirty box and now it has a black mark on it. I haven't tried to remove it yet, so we'll see. It would be nice if it had been in a plastic cover or bubble wrap, etc...

This table is small as measurements would suggest. The legs of the table and minimal support with height makes it a bit unstead on its feet. The stools appear to be sturdy enough for sitting, putting feet up on foot hold. Probably not good for too much weight past 200lbs. The white finish gets black rubs on it easily. Mine came with a damaged corner of table-top... That was a little disappointing as the box didn't look too damaged from transit. By the time you open it and realize it is damaged, what are you supposed to do...not pack it up and send it back... A little pricey for the quality. Assembly was annoying only because some of the screw holes were filled with wood bits which I didn't realize until the screw didn't catch the threads. Had to undo all 3 other screws and chisel out the wood residue with a small screw driver of the 4th hole. Otherwise, went together easily. I would end up recommending it to a friend if they are in need of a counter height, small table with stools...

The dining set works well for small spaces like a kitchen nook. I found the chair seat to be on the cheap side and not all that comfortable. I think the chair cushion is made of foam backing and cardboard encased in pleather. Over time (3 months of daily use), the table and chair became wobbly and I had to re-tighten all the screws. The paint veneer rubs off on the corners during normal usage.

The table and stools arrived in a timely fashion however one of the legs was damaged on the table. Overstock sent a replacement leg only for us to discover there was no hardware to assemble stools, just another set for the table. Once again the company made good and shipped us a package of hardware. Almost as if we were in a comedy the small red bag with the stools hardware went missing. Without the least bit of hesitation the hardware was resent. I purchased the set for my children who are now very happy to have it assembled and ready for use!

The quality of the table is really good, the only thing I would have hoped would be a little bit taller. The size is perfect for an eat-in kitchen, which is what I am using it for. I needed a little extra counter space as well, so that is why I had hoped it would be a little bit taller, but it is close (I am 5'8" so I am on the tall side). The chairs are not quite as sturdy as I had hoped, but they are good for the cheap price. I would recommend this product.
