Alright so these have mixed reviews. I received these and they were packed great with no damage. The problem people seem to have with these stools are they become loose and move a lot right away or shortly after, which leads to breaking. I grew up working in a hardware store and have had my fair share of putting wooden furniture together over the years. To stop all of these problems there is one easy solution! Wood glue! I use the one with the gorilla on it since we can't put brand names in here. I apply it everywhere something is put together, on the dowels and screws, every single one. After it is put together and before the glue dries, gently sit on the stool to settle it, then let it dry over night. I have been sitting on them for a couple of days now and they do not budge at all.... so worth the extra time if you want these to last twice as long and not have to tighten the screw or bolts every other week! Great product, very comfy, and I think they have plenty of space on the seat.... I am average size and I am very comfortable, though I can see where it can be a problem for those that are bigger.

The stools were easy to put together and are very comfortable. A few of them were a little wobbly so we loosened the leg a little and they are just fine now.

Stools look great easy to assemble, but after a week became wobbly. After a month fell apart I would not recommend this product Now, looking for better quality stools to go with kitchen island

I sent these back as they were very cheap looking, you get what you pay for.

These barstools are certainly not worth it. They are made of extrememly lightweight material. Not sturdy, and already one of the legs cracked by the bolt. I have bought the other saddle seat barstools (non-cushioned seats) and they were much better quality.

really pleased with this purchase. easy to put together, nice and light but still sturdy. classy looking pieces at a good price. thinking about buying another set!

Very lightweight. Easy to move around. Photo looks like they may feel a little more substantial. Took awhile to assemble and some of the screws were not long enough for the holes. One screw won't stay in. I did order another pair as I needed four to go under my counter. I'm satisfied with the product as I didn't have high expectations.

We were very pleased with everything overall - my first purchase from Overstock, and it won't be the last..

Every thing was as expected. Easy to assemble. Instructions were easy to follow. All parts were included. No parts were missing. You are too demanding. I am not a great talker. Your demands are not encouraging me to spend my precious time filling in this review.

I purchased 2 extra stools to go with the matching table and 2 stools so there would be more seating, they are actually very nice looking and I was very excited to have these as an addition to my breakfast nook. The stools were not easy to put together and some of the supplied screws were stripped, a lot of wood glue was used to reinforce. Bought these in July and by mid July they were wobbly. No problem, a little allen wrench action and they were tightened back up. In September we had out of town company and when one of my guests sat down the stool literally just buckled and splintered. The 3 remaining stools get a weekly tightening from the allen wrench and even that is no longer working and I am about to replace them. For the money spent I realize they were not top of the line, but I expected them to last longer than 3 months!!

Very classy and elegant (light), but of light material. Will get wobbly after several months of heavy weight bearing use. Value for money though and I would buy it again, and just keep replacing if it breaks.

I bought these for the counter and I'm glad I did! Great deal, they are easily cleaned and go great with my kitchen. The seat is bowed just enough for the kids to sit more safely than on a swivel seat.

Mostly what I expected. The bolts were a little easy to strip which prevented me from getting them as tight as I'd like and causing the stool to be a little bit wobbly. I did manage to get them tight enough. They look great at my breakfast bar and they are studry enough to sit on so all I am happy.

I bought these two extra stools to match the Table w/Two Stools ($xxxxx) that I purchased a couple weeks before. It's somewhat difficult to sit four around that table as it's more accustomed to two, but it's doable in a small space. The chairs are fairly sturdy. I'm able to stand on them to hang pictures or what not with no worries about tipping over. Great price for what you get!

These stools are WONDERFUL! They are very stable, comfortable AND stylish! I'm so glad I ordered 4! Building them took some time (many screws), but it was still very simple to follow. Great find, great buy, absolutely no complaints!

We purchased these stools to help update our house for selling. As much as I enjoy the way the stools look, and I like them a lot! They aren't very sturdy feeling. My husband put them together with wood glue...a must, and they have held together, but I would never invite anyone to sit on them for fear they would break apart under them. They are very nice to look at and fill the need that we immediately had for them. I really do wish that we could use them in our new home, though.

Very nice, I gave it 4 stars because I had to search for the screws and the directions were missing in action. Thank goodness this was easy to put together. Great Cherry color.

Very durable, perfect for under my stone bar in the kitchen. No back to swivel and mar the stone. Hides nicely under the bar out of the way of foot traffic. Did use my own wood glue when putting together. Very stable. Great deal. Only bought 2 at first to check them out. Loved them and bought 2 more.
