There were a lot of pieces to put together, but labeled VERY well. Sturdy, nicely made, and looks great in my eatin kitchen. Well worht the money.

I have been looking for something similar to this piece for months. Space/size was an issue, as I have a small area for this to fit into. I have looked at PB and C & B, and this piece is very similar in style, but hundreds of dollars less. Although it took some time to assemble (@ 3 hours of work), it wasn't too difficult. One of the pieces was missing or was mispaced and OVERSTOCK was AMAZING in dealing with our issue - luckily it was the roller hinges to close the door, so it didn't keep us from putting it together. They very quickly responded to our inquiry and are having a replacement part shipped out to us. All in all, the piece looks great (very dark espresso brown, I don't think it looks black) and very good value for the money!

We bought this in June to use as a media table for a 37 inch flat screen TV. It really is a great deal. While we were assembling (which does take just about the 4 hours mentioned in other reviews) we drilled a hole in the back for the cable box. It works out well since the remote works right through the glass door and the shelf sits so that the cords can go through easily without being seen. It is very dark rubberwood which is also a great ecologically friendly wood. There is only one very small less than perfect item in the workmanship. The inset for the drawer handle is not perfectly square, although I am the only one that notices it. My husband said he could fix it but it is not worth bothering with. For the price, the workmanship and the appearance you cannot beat this table!!

I loved, loved, loved this table. I also bought the matching coffee table and end table. It looks perfect in my living room. I actually use this as a TV stand and it accomodates a 40" flat screen perfectly. The only minor thing is that some of the handles are slightly defective, but I don't mind, because there's no visible defect. Also, I read the previous reviews on the ardous assembly of these pieces and decided to have the furniture professionally assembled. It took about 75 dollars and it was all done in 2 hours. Well worth it! I'm really excited about my furniture and can't wait to have people over to entertain! I would recommend this to anyone who has great taste but on a budget. Actually I would recommend this to people who can afford the real deal. If the knock off is this good, there's no reason to purchase the designer!

I ordered the Norwich console and the matching end/side table. Both arrived quickly and well packaged. This is a solid, sturdy piece of furniture! Although assembly does take time, if you exercise common sense and patience it is easy to do, and the results are great. You will need a 4mm hex tool (not included). This console is nearly black in color and looks far more expensive than what it costs. I use this for my flat screen TV and it works very well. This is far superior to other do-it-yourself furniture. It is real wood, and heavy. I am very happy with my purchase. note: be sure to have some pledge and a soft cloth ready when you finish assembly. The wood on my pieces was slightly dry, likely due to storage in the warehouse. The design of the console and end table is sleek, and would fit into most decorating themes. Once again, another great selection from Overstock.
