What is the weight limit?
If you are like me and are looking for some simple, nice-looking chairs to stand around a dining room table you only infrequently use, these fit the bill. For regular use, I suspect they may not hold up well for long (my 260 pound boyfriend sat in one and it already started separating at one of the pre-assembled joints, although it pushed back together and did not break). Chairs are advertised as solid wood, but they are not. The seat back and legs and seat rails are indeed solid wood and look great, but the seat is not solid wood but rather particle board with a razor thin veneer made to look like real wood. These chairs look nice but if you are expecting any wear to the seat, please be forewarned!Read More
