Very pleased with the comforter and set. Haven't figured out what to do with the ties but it really doesn't need them. I am pleased with the quality and am enjoying comfortable, cozy night sleeps. It is light and warm. Am anxious to use it in the summer to keep me cool.
I bought this for my roommate who likes to sleep with the windows wide open. So far she loves the look in the room, the cover that falls off the queen size bed, smoothness of a high tread count cotton and warmth. The ribbons were not necessary so it is sitting in the closet. The cover was not packaged in the shipping box, so I suggest you wash it even though it shows wrinkles. The amount of goose feathers in the comforter was not a lot but the same thing could be said of most comforters. Since I live in an apartment with plenty of heat anyways, this comforter does the job.
After looking at all the down comforters on overstock I decided to purchase this one based on the reviews. It is very warm and comfortable. I love going to bed everynight and I am glad that I finally broke down and purchased this. As with other reviews, it took me a few minutes on figuring out where the ties are.. Hint everyone. There are tabs sewn on top of the comforter and that is where you hook the ties to and it threads through the duvet. Anyway, the reason for the 4 star rating is because when I received my comforter it said that it was made in China. One of the main reasons I purchased this one was because Overstock said it was made in the USA. I try to purchase made in USA products as much as possible.
this was the best thing that has happened to bedtime. its comfortable andyou'll feel luxurious under its excellent fabric and perfectly filled downs. its good allseason long. the only flawit had was i couldn't figure out how to tie thecomforter to the duvet cover.
It was all it was advertised to be. Took a few minutes to figure out how to do the ties (no instructions) but like the look of the bows showing on top. It is VERY warm. The only thing I would have liked to know before buying was that the duvet cover was dry-clean only.
