This is one of the better nonslip rug pads I've seen over the years -- not too "tacky" (insofar as it adheres to wood without sticking, dangerously, to the finished surface) and generally clean to the touch. It's light enough for one person to manage without too much bother and easy enough to cut to shape with a good pair of scissors. However, it's just sticky enough to be a nuisance at times, and the "space age" material out of which it is manufactured (please forgive the Jetsons-style anachronism, but I think my reader will know what I mean by that phrase) is just viscous enough to be a problem -- especially for one person. Here's what I mean: Just when you think you have it all smoothed down to perfection in one corner of the pad, a bubble makes its appearance at the opposite end, which can be maddening. Oh, and the odor of the new pad isn't quite vile, but it is strong enough to be noticeable for the first few days after installation -- so be prepared. All in all, this is a very good product, and the best of a generally unreliable lot. And the price is certainly right, too.

This was perfect for my hardwood floors. Great quality, right size, right price, fast delivery, easy to work with, easy to cut. I will be buying all my pads through overstock. It is the best value for my money.

I have purchased two rug pads from Overstock.com and am extremely satisfied with both. They were easy to install and cut to fit. I would recommend this product to any and all.

Just what was needed under the area rug in dining room. The area rug has "1 million points", so is thick enough already and will not receive the foot traffic requiring a heavy pad. Easy to cut to size and the price was very right!

Great price - 20 dollars cheaper than I could find locally plus a perfect fit. The only issue is that it's somewhat thinner than the last one I had so I've had to smooth it down a few times under the rug - this is due to the kids and puppy more than anything and not the rug pad itself! Would buy again.

We have a South Western design woven rug, which is thinner than a tufted rug, and this pad holds the rug to our wood floor perfectly and allows the rug to lay flat. Easy to handle, easy to cut.

This rug pad was as expected, but with a stronger odor when we first got it out. It is think and would be okay for a less trafficked room, but for my living room, I am ordering the premium rug pad to replace it. A thicker rug pad makes a rug look so much nicer.

Great service. Great price. Easy to handle. Using kitchen scissors I cut the pad into smaller pieces to fit several long hall runners and small rugs in the house including one contemporary bath rug that had lost its non-slip backing. The whole process was perfect and I have still a small piece if I were to purchase another carpet style area rug.

This product was easy to cut down to the size you want with a pair of scissors. It is light and worked well with my area rug, keeping it from moving.

Rug pad is as advertised. Provides some cushion for my rug and keeps it in place.

I looked at lots of rug pads trying to find one this big at an affordable price. This one from Overstock is the best price I found and excellent quality.

These rug pads work well...I have them under most of my rugs now...I prefer the Superior Hard Surface pad...but this is a less expensive alternative and provides excellent non-slippage. We've had several under our large area rugs for 3 to 4 years and there has been no deterioration...which is pleasing...the mesh ones I've purchased for smaller rugs locally disintegrate eventually and make a mess and the rugs begin to slip...so these are by far a better alternative. I do think they are a bit costly for what they are though.

This rug is true to its colors and very thick and well made. Edges are finished very nicely and it is heavy. This rug is very much worth the price!

I did a lot of comparison shopping - and this was the best value for the money. It's just perfect for a rug that you don't need a lot of extra height added to (it's not a lot of padding) - one that you just need something to make it stay in place, nothing more. It was very easy to lay down and cut (just needed a little trim when all was said and done). Good deal.

i've never bought a rug pad before, but now that we have hardwood floors i really wanted to make every effort to protect them. hence, the rug pad. we bought a large area rug and thought we'd have to cut this pad but we didn't. It was easy to adjust to our taste and provides a nice bit of cushsion. We actually enjoy the rug more.

The nonslip rug pad works beautifully. My mother-in-law walks with a walker and we feel like she's much safer with this pad.
