Great Black Chair
I thought for some reason this chair was a dark brown - but it is truly a black. No matter - we love it! The quality of the "leather" is nicer than some other, more expensive chairs we have purchased in the past - easy to clean I wiped up a spill just this morning. There is a slight odor but nothing a little Febreeze doesn't solve and I am sure it will fade. Classy lines and comfy seat - I am well over over six foot and sit comfortably.

All I can say to the 2 star reviewers comments...is that the dimensions are CLEARLY printed on the description. If they were too lazy to read em, how is that the chair's fault? It is EXACTLY as described and reviewed by the rest.

Fantastic chairs!!!
I love, love, love this chair. I bought two in black. They are a great price, they look expensive, and they are very, very easy to put together. I live in a 1930s bungalow with a small livingroom. I made a floorplan and very carefully selected pieces that are classic, timeless, and would fit in the small space. These chairs are perfection!! Initially, I thought they sat very firm but they more I use them the more comfortable they get. I also love the fact that they are easy to clean and that my dogs can't ruin them. Yay!! I would highly recommend these to anyone.

Love it!
Simply put, it's a beautiful chair that will add elegance to any room. As for assembly, for the most part it was easy to put together. The only issue was the legs. I wish the legs had been labeled. I had to view the picture at Overstock.com to figure out which way they should be angled. Once I figured it out, it was a sinch. Caution: This chair is for us average folk; if you're tall, this might not be the right chair for you, as the seat is not very deep.

Wow! I'm still impressed!!!
I bought a pair of these a couple of months ago. They were shipped very quickly, were easy to put together and have been extremely functional ever since. I have a friend painting a couple of rooms for me and he got paint on one of them and I about freaked. The paint came right off with no damage to the chair. My son is 5' 4" and my husband is 6' 2" and they both fit comfortably in these chairs. So far they are wearing extremely well..no sagging or bunching of the leather. I think they were well worth the money and very classy. I'd buy them again and have recommended them to friends.

Would buy again
I'm so glad I ordered this chair and not a similar model I was considering. It looks beautiful in my living room and it "sits" soo well. I ordered it on Wednesday and it arrived Friday afternoon. Once I put it together, which took all of 10 minutes I hung out in it for the rest of the day and didn't get numb from sitting in it like some new furniture can cause. Even my cat loves it! Contrary to some other reviews complaining about how it "sits", I have no complaints. I think it sits very comfortably and I'm 6'1, 175lbs. I highly recommend this chair and would buy it again.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Made better than some designer futniture I've seen in retail stores. Don't be afraid of bi-cast leather, it will last longer than the real thing and looks just as good.

BROWN...not Black
Received the chair. Took it out of the box and the chair is dark brown. Overstock gladly replaced it WITH ANOTHER BROWN CHAIR. C'mon guys. It even says BROWN on the box. I also bought what Overstock called a 'matching' ottoman. Now that is black but far from a match of the chair. Looks like both will be returned....AGAIN

Unexpected Result ...
I must say that in all of my experience with overstock.com and the many products ordered and received, this was the first time I received something other than ordered. It was rather disappointing to see that the color was wrong. Not to mention the inconvenience. I have sinced returned the chair and am contemplating my next move. While I am in need of a club chair for that particular location in my home, I don't care to risk receiving the wrong item again. More to the point, at purchase time I received a 10 percent discount and I'm not willing to purchase another one without having that same discount applied. Diasappointed....
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color was totally different than what was ordered/purchased. I ordered "black" and received "brown".
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I returned the prodcut and didn't really get the opportunity to test its quality. From appearance, it seemed fine.
