Noemi Black Modern Coffee Table with Storage Compartments

This is a very solid coffee table that has a significant weight and big presence. The roomy interior hidden storage is really fantastic and we can store a lof of stuff in it -- drink coasters, magazines, game controllers, etc. And the dark wood finish is deep and rich, look great in our living room. It arrived early, was packaged extremely well in perfect condition and was a cinch to set up. Very nice indeed.

This is a great table, does exactly what it was described to do, looks like the picture and looks great in real life. But the only problem I have is with the shipping. It is packed like crap, first one was damaged as if it was dropped and there was a missing screw and a side panel fell off, no way to put it back on because the end pieces are stapled together. Thank gosh for Overstock's customer service, they were nice enough to send out another table and it got to me in a week but the part that upset me the most was that the second table was damaged in shipping too, this time it was not damaged as bad as the first but still, the corner of the table was smashed in and not in useable condition. The table weighs 70 pounds and I love the table but wish there was either a better way to get it to me or if the merchant can spend a bit more in better packaging the table. Overstock was nice enough to return both tables for me.

My old coffee table was a hand-me-down from the 70s. Nothing special. I decided to replace it with this and wow, what a difference it has made! The hidden storage compartments mean a more clutter-free living room and the sliding tabletop is so cool! The black oak veneer really adds some warmth to my home and the powdercoated steel legs are a nice modern touch. It was very simple to assemble. Thank you Overstock!

This coffee table looks and feels like it costs a lot more. Solidly built, with simple, elegant lines, this piece really pulls my living room together. The black oak looks sumptuous and warm, while the steel legs are powder-coated for that refined touch. But probably the best thing about it is the James Bond-like sliding tabletop to reveal hidden storage compartments! I put magazines, remote controls and drink coasters in it, so that the top is clutter-free when I'm not using it. Absolutely brilliant design!
