Noah Contemporary 2-piece Sofa Set

Since there weren't any reviews yet for this product I thought I'd put my thoughts out there. I, like you perhaps, found myself in need of some furniture on a very low budget. I ordered this with some trepidation but also with the knowledge that almost anything would be an upgrade over my current 12 year old been through the wringer living room set. The Good? It's pretty decent and looks okay. It is a little shorter than I expected because I obviously didn't check the measurements that Overstock provided. I suggest you do that. The set would actually work great for a smaller room or apartment perhaps. It is bonded leather and obviously not top grade quality for $1000 for a couch and loveseat. It is a little vinyl-ish but I've seen much worse for higher prices in department stores. It is comfortable - enough. I wouldn't want to sleep on it but I don't mind sitting on it for awhile. If somebody comes to visit I wouldn't mind leading them over to it and sitting and chatting a little. The bad? It just seems slightly on the cheap side (well look at the price!) and I have my doubts on longevity. Hopefully I will get 4 to 5 years out of it. It sits in a room with no tv that is lightly used. The kids and dog have been pretty much told to stay away. I would not put this in a family room with heavy use use by jumping kids and lots of people - I just wouldn't trust it to hold up under that sort of wear. Overall I'm pleased with the deal. Overstock sent it right out and in spite of warnings that it could take up to 6 weeks I received it fairly quick and the delivery men were pleasant. Check for a discount code if you decide to buy. I had one for $100 off and it brought the price down even more.
