Love this Table! I have a small apt and wanted a table with interest style and versatility. I had been looking at similar Tables in the past for almost 4 times the price. I was going to purchase a metal Top that was similar, but the pricing was over the top, and after reading some reviews It seemed that the wood top table had better ratings. I am so glad that I bought the reclaimed wood table. It looks amazing and it is sturdy. It has character and versatility, I am currently using it as my main dining table (small apt). It is rustic. The Base seems to be made of aluminum with a dark paint, it looks like iron but not as heavy. Which is a good thing because it's pretty substantial in weight. The wood top weighs it down as well, so it feels solid when I have my elbows on the table. sorry mom....
I loved this table. It was exactly as described. The table was easy to assemble. The most difficult part was removing the packaging. I wanted a round table for an eating area in my family room. This worked perfectly. I really liked the reclaimed wood top. The small areas of different colors adds to the character. This doesn't distract form the beauty of the table top.
I initially bought the metal topped table trying to emulate a similar West Elm table that cost $*** - but it had a very flimpsy top (and would make a lot of noise whenever you put anything on it) so I decided to look for a more sturdy table. This is it. The reclaimed wood on top looks awesome, and it looks great next to the exposed brick wall in my apartment. I would definitely recommend this.
Excellent design, good size (it fits perfectly in my little dining area), well matched materials (reclaimed wood looks and feels very rustic), metal base is well designed and balanced. Most of all, the assembly is very easy. Great value too!
This table is not described very well. The table top is rustic & heavy, but it also had blue & green boards, when the picture shows an all brown top. The finish was dull on the edges & didn't look like the top of the table. I've been searching for an adjustable table for some time, but this is NOT the one for me.
I've ordered several items from Overstock before and have been very happy with the purchases. However - this was not one of those times. The wooden top of the table was turquoise blue in some areas and the wood was extremely warped. I understand that this is meant to be a rustic/reclaimed table, but I did not expect the wood to be discolored and such poor quality. I returned the item immediately. Overstock was very helpful with refunding my purchase immediately after they received the item back.
This is exactly what I had been wanting and looking for, for $100s less! The only reason I gave it 4 stars on quality was because the legs are some other sort of metal than iron, you only notice it when assembling it, which is simply screwing the table top onto the base, but it looks like forged iron. It would probably be too heavy if it was iron. The wood top is much better and more sturdy than the thin metal top ones I've seen in person. The size is perfect as a side table next to my sofa that has high arms, and I love that I can raise it if I ever need to for say an extra dining spot for 2? It's rustic, classic and a bit of industrial, yet has a classic style to it as well. If you've been looking for this size crank table, I believe this is your best buy! Get it.
