Worth Every Penny!!!
Trust the reviews! This product is awesome! It arrive three days after ordering in perfect condition. It can be assembled by one person IF you follow my recommendations (see below). Anyway, with my newly purchased 37" LCD, this stand looks great in my bedroom. It can easily handle a 42" LCD. With one person, follow assembly step one, but do not add the top frame (LA). Complete step 2. Complete step 3 by adding the the back piece (LF), then add in the top frame (LA). Verify that pieces L9 are in the correct orientation. One end is painted metal. One end has a plastic foot. Foot piece down. Continue with the directions for the remainder of step 3. Complete step 4. At step 5, place a towel on the top frame (LA) to rest one side of the glass top. Add the collar pieces (L4) to one side only. Rest the glass top on the towel side, and then on the side with the collars. Attach screws. Do not tighten. Add collars to side with towel (remove towel). Insert screws, then tighten all around. Complete step 5. Clean with a soft dry cloth, then with glass cleaner on glass surfaces. Done!

Gorgeous Stand
I just purchased this TV stand for my 42" Plasma TV and it was a great buy! Very heavy and very sturdy so it holds everything just fine. The instructions were somewhat difficult to read since it was a diagram with very small print. I'm a single mom who is not very mechanically inclined but I put this together myself! The pieces are heavy and a second person would have been helpful but one person can do it...it just takes longer. The only real complaint I have is that the glass scratches VERY EASILY so BEWARE when you are putting it together and also putting components on the stand. Also when using the hex screwdriver, be careful as it will scratch the pieces.It is a great looking piece of furniture and I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice TV stand at a great price!

Luv it!
The picture does not do the stand justice, it is georgeous! The price excellent, I have seen other stands a little similar but the price was about $50 or $60 more than what Overstock is offering. My only disappointment was that it took 2 weeks for me to get the dang thing! Anyway, I have it, it's set-up and it looks beautiful.

Nico Black 42-inch TV Media Console
Beautifully elegant! That is the best description for this TV Media Console. The assembly instructions state that two people are required but I assembled it by myself. However, the glass shelves (especially the top shelf) are fairly heavy, so some people might require help in attaching it. Assembly was easy and all of the tools (a hex screwdriver and a wrench) were included. The screws, nuts and washers were in lettered and numbered pouches which correspond to each assembly step. As you can tell from the item photo on Overstock, the top glass shelf "floats" above the frame and this creates a very striking efffect. I have a 37" LCD on the unit and it fits perfectly. The two uprights in the front of the unit are black wood pieces which attach to the metal frame, and add to the distinctive look of the unit. I am totally happy with this Nico TV Media Console.
