Our table just arrived today (1-9-09)....just ordered it 5 days ago....it's perfect for our den....great quality....easy to put together....it matches the bar stools we bought from overstock 3 years ago!

Solid wood and quite heavy...couldn't have been easier to assemble. Arrived in pristine condition except for a half inch nick along one edge of the tabletop; not noticeable enough for me to return though. Matched the table with some 24" counter chairs and things couldn't be better.

This table turned out to be just what we wanted and needed. It looks great. It is sturdy and easy to put together. We are very pleased. We shopped and priced locally and online and this was the best price and we had no shipping charges.

I really like the table. It serves my purpose. I have small kitchen. Before I had a round table that was 42in round. It was too large for my kitchen. I can use my round table cloths, and my oval and round placemats on this table. Everyone who comes admire it. I also use it without a tablecloth it matches my woodwork in the kitchen. I purchased counterheight rod iron swivel chairs. They match a corner rod iron stand I already had. The stools that match the table don't have backs. I purchased them for extra short time seating I am very pleased. Be sure to measure so that you get the right height table and chairs for your area. I purchased 26in height chairs for my table. The stools are higher than 26in. If there is a problem Overstock , will refund.

What a major disappointment! I didn't even take it out of the box! Just from opening the edge of the box, I could see a crack in the base as welll as a split in the table's top. Sent it back ASAP.

We were so eager to receive this table since we had been looking quite a while for a table this exact size and wood color. It came in two boxes, one with the table top and one with the legs. We opened the table top box first and when it came out.....what a disappointment! The wood color was what we wanted and it seemed like a heavy, sturdy piece of furniture but the finish was off in a few places and several dents and scratches on top and and edges. The edges could have been banged in transport but the unfinished parts had to be the fault of the manufacturer. Needless to say, we were so disappointed. We didn't even open the legs box after seeing the table top. We're sending it back but haven't decided if we're going to take a chance on getting another or a refund. If it had been in showroom condition, the price we paid would have been well worth it.
