These chairs are PERFECT. Solid, beautiful and extremely sturdy. We purchases 2 sets right off the bat based on prior reviews. The assembly was easy to accomplish. After reading the prior reviews i was mindful of the pitfalls. The first chair, of course, took the longest to assemble. After that it was easy sailing. We were using them for dinner! You wont go wrong in purchasing these beauties!

I was pleased with the appearance and the workmanship of these two chairs. They are heavy, sturdy chairs and appear as pictured. Directions need to be followed carefully, but no separate tools were needed. This was my first purchase from Overstock.com, but it won't be my last. I was impressed by the packaging and quick delivery and the fact that no parts were missing. I did find the wooden seats somewhat uncomfortable for extended time seated so have ordered separate chair cushions and I also had "feet" put on the legs. These two items added to the cost, but not everybody may find them necessary.I had searched long and hard for two suitable chairs for my newly remodeled kitchen and these were the best by far.

I ordered one pair of chairs in order to evaluate the product. I was impressed with the appearance and sturdiness of the chairs, so I ordered 6 more chairs! All arrived quickly and in good condition. Assembly was easy. This is a great buy.

Very well made and easy to put together. These chairs are very sturdy and look great with our table.The comfort-ability of these chairs takes a while to get use to, but overall these are a great value and I would buy them again if I had to.

Thanks to previous reviewers for your helpful comments. I installed felt-tipped pegs onto the bottom of the chair legs prior to assembly. No complaints whatsoever.

These chairs are very sturdy and absolutely beautiful. They go well with the decor of our kitchen and dining room. I would recommend these chairs.

These two chairs are amazingly sturdy. We put them together in a flash and were using them almost immediately. They blend with our various furniture--a mixture--and definitely keep our look up to date.The workmanship is excellent and the seat is very comfortable. It makes a great computer desk chair.I think they will work best with some cushions.

Chairs were wonderful---Had to be assembled--But if you follow directions and organize parts, they can be assembled in a short amount of time. HINT: Stand chairs on all 4 legs before tightening the screws---This will help in leveling the legs/chairs.

I put these together myself (I'm female) and the process was actually easier then I expected. The wood is heavy and solid, the pieces were all there :-) and the only thing that was challenging was screwing the seats onto the base- the holes were not pre-drilled so have a drill handy. Great value for the money and I will buy these again if I need addtnl chairs.

I bought two to see how they would look with my table and to check out their quality before commiting to more. I now have four and may spring for two more to have for dinner guests so I guess this pretty much speaks for itself. They're beautiful, sturdy, easy to put together, inexpensive and shipped very quickly. Yet another fine purchase and shopping experience with Overstock!

I needed new dining chairs after our movers crushed our other set (again!). These are excellent chairs, especially for the price. I shopped at our local furniture stores and the price for just four chairs was more than for a whole dining set! I wanted to keep my table and these chairs match it perfectly. I purchased four chairs and it took my husband and I less than an hour to assemble them, it was very easy. They are very comfortable to sit in and have a quality look about them. They feel sturdier than other chairs I have bought because they were assembled with several screws instead of the usual glue and dowels. Very happy with these chairs...

These chairs are an exceptional buy and value. Priced the chairs previously and twice the cost. I would recommend if you need casual chairs for office, dining room or breakfast area, buy these chairs.

I looked for chairs forever. These are awesome chairs. They are literally half the price of other chairs I looked at. Far exceeded my expectations. Only problem (slight) that I had is the one page instructions didn't show which side of the box frame to start with, but you need to start with the side that has the screw holes to the bottom so when you turn the chair up the screw holes are up. That is how you attach the seats to the chairs.

We ordered one set of the chair to see if we liked them. They assembled easily, but we realized that you need to leave the front two legs loose until the seat is assembled, then level them on the floor before tightening. One of the chairs had a finishing smudge on the upper back, but it wasn't too noticeable. We ordered two more and one of the chairs had more severe finishing smudges in the same area. We felt we could touch them up and hopefully they will be ok. I am disappointed with this, however, the chairs are very heavy, solid wood, assemble easily and very sturdy. They are comfortable as any wooden chair can be. Over all, we think they are a great buy. If I received two chairs in the same order that had defects I would have returned them for exchange. However, for the price you can't beat these chairs. I would suggest adding plastic or rubber coasters to the bottoms, as they leave black marks on our light-colored vinyl floor. We received both shipments quickly. We are happy with them, and very happy with Overstock.com. We will continue to use you again.
