Not a bad desk. I put it together all by myself (and that is an accomplishment if you know me). However check the directions closely, some seemed to be wrong. May say side "5" but mean "15" - that sort of thing. Very convenient shelving. Pretty good for the price.

For $****, including shipping and tax, this desk is worth the money. It's functional, which is what I needed. It's not high-quality, and not a beautiful piece of furniture, but it does what I need it to, which is to house my computer. It has a pull-out place for the keyboard and plenty of space for papers and books on top since there are storage spaces for all the equipment underneath. I managed to put it together with no help from anyone except my 4 year old and 14 month old, so you should understand that it's fairly simple to assemble. I usually leave these tasks up to my husband, so if I can do it, so can you!

I was overwhelmed by the assembly required, thus my rating. I never did get it assembled.... Price good, but............

First time order from overstock.com, item did not arrived due to broken while in transit and got sent back. Working with customer service... and they resent a new one. Thanks! - Excellent Customer Service. - Very Helpful - Prompt Updates The reason 4 stars due item received does not comes with good instructions, and missing some minor screws (no big deal), takes me 2 hours to figure how to get it assemble to else i will give 5 stars. Will definitely buy again from overstock.com

I was looking for something small, functional, and cheap...well, cheap is exactly what we got! When we got it opened up there are chips and scratches all over with one being right on the corner of the top of the desk. Till we got all the pieces out of the box we weren't concerned about trying to send it back for them to fix it because we figured we wouldn't be able to get it back in the box! Then came trying to assemble it. I read the reviews and the troubles some were saying about putting it together but I thought "it's a desk...how hard could it be?" HA! My husband who is a avionics technician was cursing me! Lets just say this... the very first step of the instructions read... "Insert all bolt in all hole." (I'm not joking!) And the CD rack is very cheap and they didn't have enough holes pre-made for it. With my husband and I working together it took us 2.5-3 hours to put it all together... (by this point I was just wishing I would have kept my broken desk) The only thing I can positively say is that once it is together it will work well for someone in small spaces. And if you decide to purchase it... good luck!

This was purchased as a gift to my son-in-law, and he really like it and especially because it goes with the colors being used in the decor. Glad that i was able to find something that was very useful and the price was absolutely right.

The instructions are nearly impossible to follow & the pieces weren't clearly marked, but I was still able to assemble it on my own in 2 hours or so. I still can't figure out how to install the drawer, so it's just placed in it's "cubby." The instructions indicate to attach part of the track to the desk & part to the drawer, but they are pretty firmly together, so... Well, anyway, it's a nice-looking desk & easily accomodates my closed laptop & 2 monitors for my home office set up.

I ordered this thinking it was a quality piece but I was wrong! The holes did not match up, hardware did not fit, directions were terrible, and when it was correctly assembled, it collapsed! Completely unstable. Now I find out that Overstock will not give me a full refund? For a first experience with them this is the worst i could imagine. I will not be coming back.

Got this for my wife who needed a work desk in the bedroom. Spent about an hour assembling. It had small part numbers, located somewhere on each piece, that were usefull, but mostly used the picture of the finished desk vs. the instructions. Slide tray and drawer work great and the desk looks nice. Perfect for our application!

There are 21 pieces in this desk and about 200 screws... but only 14 steps in instructions to assemble all of it. The assembly took 3 people well over 2 hours, and 2 of us have been assembling things for years. Yes, the parts are numbered, but there is no indication whatsoever as to which side they are mentioning or which side is up. When you look at the instruction manual, they ONLY put the hole you are supposed to use, omitting the other ones, which are extremely helpful if you need to know which side you're working on. So, after all the sweat and stress, yes, the desk looks ok. But JUST ok, not great or amazing (I don't get compliments from people if that's what you're looking for). The price is nice, it looks nice, and it's got all you need, but the assembly make it not worth anything. All in all, I would NOT recommend this desk to anyone. I honestly do not wish anyone to spend so many hours putting this thing together.

THE DESK WAS AS REPRESENTED ONLINE. WENT TOGETHER QUITE EASILY AND FAST. HAD A SMALL PROBLEM WITH GETTING THE DRAWER TO SLIDE EASILY WHICH EVENTUALLY GOT RESOLVED BY A NUMBER OF ADJUSTMENTS ON THE RAILS. . I LIKE THE LOOKS OF IT IN MY HOME AND ENJOYED NOT HAVE TO GO OUT SHOPPING TO FIND WHAT I WANTED.. IT IS CERTAINLY A GOOD VALUE.

The desk was sturdy once constructed and of acceptable quality. There were some minor scratches on the top, but I did not want to bother with a return. The instructions were not as clear as they needed to be, and this made assembly more difficult and lenghty. The design is compact and provides adequate storage.

Nice small desk - good for tight places. Very hard to assemble, however. Instructions are really confusing

I really liked this desk.It has space on the side too to stack files.The only thing I would have liked on this was extra drawers.
