Easy and efficient
I had never made homemade ice cream before sampling some at a friends house. I was hooked and started my search for an ice cream maker at my home. I cannot afford the expensive Lello products, but this one seemed a reasonably priced alternative. And so far I'm really happy with it. The churning paddle is plastic - stainless steel would have been nice, but it works fine. The quality of the ice cream is excellent, and I was happy to discovr that it has a cooling feature to keep the ice cream cold once it stops mixing. Since I have kids, I can't always empty it right away, you know? Anyway, I'm very satisfied and would recommend it to a friend.

I have had a cuisineart ice cream maker for a few years, and use it fairly regularly, but it is frustrating to have to freeze the bowl between each use, so I wanted to get a unit with a compressor built in. This one was right in my price range, and I couldn't be happier. First day, I whipped up three - three! - batches of ice cream in a row and shared the with neighbors. Now they keep asking when they are going to get more. It's really simple to use and seems really reliable so far. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others.
