  • small yet powerful

It is small and can be easily moved from one room to another. I used it in my study during the day and in the bedroom in the night. There is a handle which is not hot so you can take it wherever you want. Very satisfied.

  • Great small heater for Bedroom

The rooms in the back of the house are always the coldest, being the furthest from the furnace. We put this little heater on a few hours before retiring and the room is toasty and comfortable. We use just a half setting and that is enough. Quiet, small enough to be put away when not needed, its just the right heater for the bedroom or study.

  • VERY small -- but gets the job done.

O.k --- the absolute truth --- when I first got the box, I thought someone was playing a joke on me. The cardboard box that Overstock ships this heater in, is small - roughly the size of a bloomingdales medium brown bag. Seeing the box, I already thought this heater was much too small to be effective in any way, but then, I opened the box, and found about 8 inches of styrofoam surrounding the heater. Once I finally got down to the heater itself, my eyes nearly fell out of their sockets, I opened them so wide. To describe it accurately, this heater is no bigger than a Merriam-Webster's College Unabridged Dictionary. For an oil heater, it is the smallest I've ever seen. Its smaller than the picture of it on the box.... Its amazing to me that any company is even able to make oil heaters this small..... I did read the product description before I purchased - but to be honest, I didn't read the part that details the dimensions in inches. I went by the review one person left, which was 5-star and did mention the heater is small but mighty. I figured that since I only needed the heater to get me through the cold spring months, it was a decent price for a quality product. My 14-year old Maltese loves it. He sleeps by it and looks like it was custom-made for his little body -- he is roughly half the size of the heater. So far, in my 300 square-foot bedroom, this heater works great. I have it set 3/4 of the way between the - and + signs. I don't know how this would work in the middle of a cold winter, but for the cold nights in Spring, I think it'll do the trick. Its obvious that this is a quality product, its well-made and looks stable. My one concern is that the power cord is oddly placed, on the bottom inside of the front cord-wrap leg of the heater -- meaning that the cord goes under the heater fins....I worry that the heat from the fins will melt/burn the cord...But only time will tell. Again, I'm only using this heater for the cold nights in spring, but it does heat well over 70 sq. ft., so I think that size-shock aside, I made the right purchase.
